in request of tea and sympathy !! ...or wine and roses may be more appropriate... i've been MIA this past week for the reason above... had a visitor (his name is arthur) LOL... and needed some surgery on my foot... yesterday was such a beautiful day here in central ohio... in the mid 40's, sun brightly shining so jim and i poured some wine, put on our coats and sat on the deck collecting some sunshine vitamin D on our faces... aaaaah, the simple things in life.....

Meet abchick, aka Abbie, a fellow flickrite and good friend who i had the pleasure to meet this afternoon along with her family and another flickr friend, Ann (libraryann) and her family.
Everyone had a fun time at our local watering hole, Barton Springs, even if it was a bit hot (again). But I guess my sunburn will be worth it! :-)

umm, don't answer that question. They are both beautiful, although i prefer snow in moderation and actually use my flip-flops in summer.
