It was a memorable and precious time spent at the mall with a gorgeous beloved goddess. As she tried on outfits which left me breathless, I was able to step out of the store to cool down. 😄 These flowers caught my eye. They may seem to be average looking flowers to most people, but they too look far more beautiful, exciting, enticing, and delightful, when experienced in 3D of real life. Let the magic blossom, no matter how frustrating and how ordinary you think something may be.

Life has challenges, and it flies by too fast. It is easy to get bogged down in tedious tasks, mundane minutiae, frustrating folks, and challenging circumstances. But, every morning, and even every moment, it is in our control to hit mental refresh buttons and not let all that take away our focus from what we want to achieve in life, or to lose sight of who we are as individuals, nor to forget our blessings.
I am beyond blessed that no matter what was on my mind when I went to bed at 3AM, I can wake up every morning, filled with gratitude to be alive, healthy, loved, and able to see this sight and gasp in thankful prayer to be able to call this place home. Thanks to Allah for all that I have experienced and been blessed with. May God continue to bless us all.
Make your day and days count, my friends, and loved ones, no matter how low the tides of life make you feel. Critical Thinking involves looking at things from all angles. It is weighing all evidence fairly, thinking things through, and examining the evidence from all sides rather than jumping to conclusions. It also involves being open- minded and able to change one’s mind in the light of evidence. Critical thinking and open-mindedness make the examined life possible. This type of logical and rational thinking is considered a corrective virtue; it corrects for a tendency to think in ways that favor one’s current views and to seek out information consistent with them. Judgment and open-mindedness are the ingredients for stepping back and taking perspective. Open-mindedness does not mean indecision, and it does not mean uncritical tolerance of any and all points of view. Someone with this strength makes decisions and can feel strongly about certain courses of action. What marks good judgment is the consideration of other points of view, the gathering of relevant information, and the willingness to change one’s mind.
