In 1916 Australian nurse Elsie embarks on a life-changing journey when she leaves Australia to serve in the war. It is a journey that takes her halfway across the world to a French hospital in the middle of a battle-ravaged Europe. There she meets Manchester soldier Bernard, injured on the Western Front and now struggling to piece together what remains of his fractured memory. Elsie has many stories to tell. Bernard needs to find only one. Can Elsie help Bernard tell the one story he must?

i went to texas over summer and i came back totally in love with blue bell ice cream. i loved it so much that i had a hard time eating other kinds of ice cream because it was so amazing. unfortunately, they only make it in the south, so it's really hard to get in california. my good friend Brian ordered 4 1/2 gallons for me for my birthday, so this is what my freezer looks like right now.
I'm in heaven..
And I'll be 30 pounds heavier once this is all gone.
