It's sad to me that DNA tests prove the so-called Highland Darter (formerly Sympetrum nigrescens), to be a dark form of the Common Darter (Sympetrum striolatum). Such a loss - they look distinct to me. ;-) This one is a female.

I think this is my personal favourite shot of the Azure Hawker (Aeshna caerulea), which occasionally settled on us.
