Debre Libanos is a monastery in Ethiopia, lying northwest of Addis Ababa in the Oromia Region. Founded in the thirteenth century by Saint Tekle Haymanot, the monastery's chief abbot, called the Ichege, was the second most powerful official in the Ethiopian Church after the Abuna. Debre Libanos suffered great destruction during the invasion of Ahmad Gragn when one of his followers, Ura'i Abu Bakr, set it afire 21 July 1531. Current buildings, including the church over Tekle Haymanot's tomb, were constructed in 1961 by order of Emperor Haile Selassie; there is also a slightly older Church of the Cross, where is told that a fragment of the True Cross is preserved. The cave where the saint lived is in the nearby cliffs, this cave contains a spring, whose water is considered holy and is the object of pilgrimages.

To its W is Beqaa Valley, with agriculture in light green; there also sits Qaraon reservoir, in dark emerald green. Clouds in white and its shadows in black.

In particolare, sono stati realizzati progetti di sostegno ai piccoli produttori locali attraverso l’apertura e l’avvio di mercati contadini (mercati della terra) a Saida e a Tripoli El Mina, mentre altri mercati verranno aperti a Beirut e a Balbeck
