Even with my tripod system (which costed an arm and a leg + more), it doesn't have a level built in.
I loved this gadget from the first moment I saw it. The problem. B&H sells it for about $37. The bargain shopper in me refused to buy it for that price and asked a few people to keep an eye out for me. And Cal came through! You rock! Yippee! I didn't need it quite yet and didn't buy it, but saved the web site.
Fast forward a few months...
A friend from Australia who joins my yearly photo shoot found the bubble level for $20 and thought it was a great deal. And then I remembered Cal's linky! Score!
She wanted four, and I wanted a few for some friends, and ended up picking 20 (round number) since our upcoming trip to Moab has 70 photographers! We figured that someone would buy them!
And do you know the funny part? Nearly all 20 already have owners and I just received them this morning.
I'm keeping two, and giving one to Cal, Caren, Dan, Norbert, Justin, Brett, Will (??? -- you said you didn't need one???). Did I miss anybody? Do I need to buy more?
And this is just a photo of 17. I picked up the package this morning before work and three were already on its way to a photographer on the east coast by lunch time. :-)

I love shooting in "off beat" positions. I shot this laying on my belly, and as the sun peaked out from behind the clouds, I got the perfect shot of the rays. I feel like this picture takes in all the elements of the shore line-shells,waves,sun!

These are taken from the Sea Wall near Goldcliff, Newport on the Gwent levels - a beautiful walk, especially with skies like this!
The Level Crossing at Heckington. Not many manually operated crossings left now, and it adds to the effect of the village... a reminder of times when life was a lot less hurried and the days of many branch lines and village stations.
This level crossing deserves listed status, the gates adding to the scene with the windmill in the background.
Guilin, formerly Romanized as Kweilin, is a prefecture-level city in the northeast of China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is situated on the west bank of the Li River and borders Hunan to the north. Its name means "Forest of Sweet Osmanthus", owing to the large number of fragrant sweet Osmanthus trees located in the region. The city has long been renowned for its scenery of karst topography and is one of China's most popular tourist destinations.
One of the most enjoyable activities in the area is to take a boat ride down the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo. Tubes raft is popularly used for cruising in the lake. This allows tourists to relax and enjoy the smooth, cool ride, while taking in all of the beautiful countryside. Li River, stretching 83 kilometers from Guilin to Yangshuo, is often considered the pearl of the nation's mountains and rivers as well as the essence of Guilin scenery.
Guilin is the home of more than 10 ethnic groups, such as Han, Zhuang, Miao, Yao, Hui and Dong etc..

The water level route was the mainline of the New York Central railroad which ran from New York City to Chicago with virtually no grades in between. The route is owned by several different railroads today however south of Croton Harmon it retains its original four tracks.
The 2 recording level meters. One is fitted in place on the panel. The cover that retains them carries the illumination bulbs, only the meter(s) in use are illuminated.

Hear from Federal DEIA leaders on how EEO and Civil Rights laws have been enhanced with DEIA principles promoted in the federal workplace through President Biden's issuance of Executive Orders (EOs) which have advanced equity, civil rights, racial justice and equal opportunity throughout all of the Federal Government. In June 2021, the President specifically issued EO 14035, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) in the Federal Workforce so that Agency workforces reflect the diversity of America through its employment policies and practices to ensure that public servants at all levels have an equal opportunity to succeed and lead. This builds on other Equity-related EOs such as EO 13985 Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government.
