The High Level Bridge is a road and railway bridge spanning the River Tyne between Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead in North East England. It is considered the most notable historical engineering work in the city. It was built by the Hawks family from 5,050 tons of iron. George Hawks, Mayor of Gateshead, drove in the last key of the structure on 7 June 1849, and the bridge was officially opened by Queen Victoria later that year.
It was designed by Robert Stephenson to form a rail link towards Scotland for the developing English railway network; a carriageway for road vehicles and pedestrians was incorporated to generate additional revenue. The main structural elements are tied cast-iron arches.
Notwithstanding the considerable increase in the weight of railway vehicles since it was designed, it continues to carry rail traffic, although the King Edward bridge nearby was opened in 1906 to ease congestion. The roadway is also still in use, although with a weight restriction. It is a Grade I listed structure. [Wikipedia]
I do need to go to Osprey Therapy!! I can not help myself!! I just love them!! I promise to check in to a Osprey help center soon!! Just too busy right now rescusing birds on a daily basis at the Boynton Inlet!! Pelicans, Royal Terns, American Terns and anything else that needs help I will be there for them!!! I do rescue for the "South Florida Wildlife Rescue Center in Fortlauderdale Florida" I rescue about two birds a day not including peliacans that have hooks and or lours in their wings a day!!!! If anyone needs help in the npalm beach or boward county area with an injured animal I can be called at 561-374-2819 or the South Florida Wildlife Center at 954-4302 Just call them and they will come!!! I work as well as I can and do all I can!! This is what I wake up for every day!! It's to help an animal that may need help. We need to be their voice!! If need be I will scream!!!!!!

On the B935 is Forteviot Level Crossing which has automatic barriers with red flashing lights and a high pitched siren. The part of the Perth Line is where the trains thunder through at high speeds.

The railway platform in the left distance, first known as Henderson's, was opened for use on 26 Sept 1874. Crossing loops were added in 1881-2 and a large sand bin and water tanks followed in 1884. The Linden yard was remodelled in the 1896 deviation, which eliminated four eight chain curves between Numantia and Linden by substituting three transitioned curves of twelve chains radius. Advantage was also taken at that time to provide full interlocking passing loops and sidings, operating from an open frame on the platform. When the line was duplicated in 1902, the island platform with brick buildings and footbridge from the cutting was built.
Under the embankment is the site of the original 17 Mile Hollow Toll Bar erected 1849, to collect tolls on the Western Road. The first toll keeper was Thomas Ellison who built the associated Toll Bar Inn in 1857. When both were demolished for railway construction in 1863, Thomas received compensation of £1,633 for the loss; he also owned The Native Lass Inn on Lapstone Hill. His son John married Hannah Lees in Springwood in 1871 and they had 10 children. His orchard and farm were situated on the present Springwood golf course and the house utilised stone salvaged from the Toll Bar Inn. In 1911 the family relocated to their property in Emu Plains. Ellison road and public school in Springwood bear his name.
In the distance, right, is Linden Lodge, built on the original grant of the land made to William Henderson, a prosperous Sydney ware-houseman, in 1865; it comprised 40 acres (16 hectares), portion 7 in the parish of Linden. Henderson built a fine home which he named Linden Lodge and was living there by 1876, when he was one of a group of residents instrumental in having a public school opened in Springwood. Following the application of one of his neighbours, Mr D Fletcher, a railway platform was conveniently built nearby, originally known as Henderson’s Platform and then as Linden, after the house.

a level 5 alert fire is the highest level a fire can be gauged. a level 5 requires the assistance of all available firefighters to help control the situation. yesterday i came across this fire incident which was given this status as the conditions, high level winds, water shortage and very dry weather, induced the flames even further. this large fire razed through this community of urban informal settlers in metro manila scorching hundreds of houses that left hundreds of families homeless. firefighters were able to control the fire after 12 hours

Parc Level Colliery was located in the foot hills of the Black Mountains and close to the village of Rhiw-Fawr north west of Ystalyfera in South Wales. It was unusual among the 'small mines' in that it was locomotive worked rather than by man or pony power alone. When visited in 1990 it had three operational locomotives and one dumped. The working Ruston's were all named (Wendy, Janet & Pearl) and of manufacturers type LB or LBU.
The 2ft gauge line extended 700yards underground from the adit to serve five working coal faces in the Rhondda No.1 coal seam. The workings seen here opened in 1975 replacing an earlier 1946 drift which was horse worked.
The Ruston & Hornsby built loco wks no.432648 of 1959 and named 'Pearl' is seen in a cloud of exhaust as it propels empties back into the mine heading for the coal face. The mine was producing Anthracite coal for the local market.

Graham and I saw in the distance a very small and young Racoon playing with something like a kitten would play with a spool of yarn. As we got closer we saw that this baby Racoon had a large frog. The racoon had the frog in his mouth and was trying to bite his head off while holding the body of the frog by his front claws. The racoon was pulling on the frogs head so much! It was like a rubber band frog in his mouth and claws!! It was so funny to watch, because the racoon would fall back with the force!! This went on for a least twenty minutes or so! I tried to do the best job of the capture of the frong in this pic!! Needed to share this so awesome capture!! It was just a riot!! Babies are so cute!!

Saturday afternoon Ore to Brighton stopping service passes the level crossing as it arrives at Berwick station. The old London, Brighton & South Coast Railway Saxby & Farmer signal box remains in use.
New camera new photo attempt. Same lighting setup as last time but the photos came out a little better this time (more over all light captured, though still some light and focus balancing issues), still need to get more practice with the new camera. With how large this moc is and its color scheme the only way I may get real good photos is outside on an over cast day (not likely to happen with this moc) or with good convention hall lighting.
