Smátindafjall var sveipað í þoku þegar við komum í skarðið sunnan undir Flögutind en eftir því sem tíminn leið létti til og tindarnir komu í ljós.

mostrano ciascuna quattro scene della vita di Maria e della Passione di Cristo. Sono disposti in ordine cronologico e possono essere letti da sinistra a destra.
From the original altar only two wings are preserved (canvas on fir wood, 150 by 140 cm each) with two paintings inside and outside, for a total of eight panels and
each showing four scenes from the life of Mary and the Passion of Christ. They are arranged in chronological order and can be read from left to right.

L’EC 459 Zürich HB - Leipzig - Praha hl.n. attraversa la valle dell’Elba alle prime luci del mattino. Dopo la locomotiva si trovano due carrozze letti partite dalla Svizzera la sera prima, due ulteriori carrozze di cui una noleggiata da RDC, il cui ben si sposa alla livrea delle ferrovie ceche, e ulteriori vagoni agganciati a Lipsia per la sezione diurna del treno. A ridosso di Königstein il treno si specchia nell’Elba davanti alle pittoresche case in riva al fiume. /// Der EC 459 Zürich HB – Leipzig – Praha hl.n. durchquert am Morgen das Elbtal. Hinter der Lokomotive folgen zwei Schlafwagen, die am Vorabend in der Schweiz gestartet sind, zwei weitere Wagen, von denen einer von der RDC gemietet wurde und gut zur Lackierung der tschechischen Eisenbahn passt, sowie weitere Wagen, die in Leipzig für den Tagesabschnitt der Fahrt angehängt wurden. Hinter Königstein spiegelt sich der Zug in der Elbe vor den malerischen Häusern am Flussufer.

Venice Simplon Orient Express (VSOE) door Lineas 186 292 onderweg van Venezia Santa Lucia via Roosendaal, Rotterdam, Gouda en Breukelen naar Amsterdam Centraal komt aan in Essen (B). Hier staat de trein een paar minuten stil om medewerkers van Railexperts in te laten stappen. Tussen Aulnoye-Aymeries (?) in Frankrijk en Schaarbeek heeft NMBS 1866 de tractie verzorgd. Questo parco è stato allestito alla metà del 18esimo secolo e comprende letti erbacei, un grande lago, un giardino di rose con 100 diverse varietà oltre a quasi 200 specie di alberi. “The Great Conservatory” è una magnifica serra che si trova proprio al centro del parco. L’Enchanted Woodland è un evento nel quale viene creato un sentiero illuminato che guida i visitatori attraverso il parco. Il sentiero si snoda intorno al lago nel quale si specchiano gli alberi illuminati di molteplici colori, con spettacolari opportunità fotografiche a dispetto del gelido inverno Londinese!
Syon Park encompasses 30 acres of gardens and 200 acres of parkland attached to the Duke of Northumberland's London home, Syon House. This park was in the mid 18th century - includes herbaceous beds, a large lake, a rose garden with 100 different varieties of old-fashioned rose and almost 200 species of tree. In the historic garden, the restored Great Conservatory - a magnificent building of glass and stone - forms the centrepiece. Syon Park’s Enchanted Woodland is a magical event which sees an illuminated trail laid out through the Gardens and Arboretum of Syon. The beautiful oak trees and gardens at Syon Park are illuminated in spectacular fashion as a guide walks visitors through the Enchanted Woodland. The trail leads you around the 18th century lake - where the shapes and textures of the ancient winter trees are reflected in the water - and past intriguing corners of the estate, all of it floodlit to maximum rainbow effect. The shadows and magic of a frosty winter's night make this an ideal opportunity for photographing the forest in a unique way.

Gli omikuji sono foglietti di carta su cui è scritta una frase della fortuna.
Sono riposti all’interno di una scatoletta, solitamente fatta di bambù, e vengono dispensati uno per volta scuotendolo la scatola stessa.
I messaggi sono classificati in Daikichi (grande buona fortuna), Kichi (buona fortuna), Shokichi (piccola buona fortuna), Shokyo (piccola sfortuna), Kyo (sfortuna), Daikyo (grande sfortuna).
Una volta letti, i foglietti di carta devono essere annodati al ramo di un albero, o su appositi raccoglitori, sempre all’interno del santuario per fare in modo che la fortuna si avveri o la sfortuna venga scacciata.

Omikuji are slips of paper on which a lucky phrase is written.
They are placed inside a box, usually made of bamboo, and are dispensed one at a time by shaking the box itself.
The messages are classified into Daikichi (big luck), Kichi (good luck), Shokichi (small luck), Shokyo (small bad luck), Kyo (bad luck), Daikyo (big bad luck).
Once read, the slips of paper must be knotted to a tree branch, or on special binders, always inside the sanctuary to ensure that luck comes true or bad luck is driven away.

Ras Mohammed National Park Entrance - Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt
The "Gate of Peace" in Ras Mohammed, or Gate of Allah, is a monument located at the entrance to the Ras Mohammed National Park near Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. Built as a symbol of peace between Egypt and Israel after the 1973 war, it is made of concrete blocks that, when read from right to left (in Arabic) or left to right (in Hebrew), spell out the word "Allah."

Das herrschende Sturmwetter vom 18./19. Februar 2022 im Norden Deutschlands und in den Niederlanden haben dafür gesorgt das der ganze Urlauberverkehr auf der Schiene nach Österreich komplett durcheinander gekommen ist.
Mit eine Verspätung von 12 Stunden stand der Alpen Express aus den Niederlanden auf den Ankunftsmonitor im Bahnhof Kufstein angeschrieben...

Villino Ruggeri
Il Villino Ruggeri è uno dei più straordinari esempi di architettura liberty in Italia, fatto costruire tra il 1902 e il 1907 da Oreste Ruggeri, dinamico industriale farmaceutico e della ceramica.
La direzione dei lavori è affidata all’architetto urbinate Giuseppe Brega.
Quando la famiglia Ruggeri occupa l’edificio, tutto quanto (infissi, decori e arredi delle stanze compresi maniglie, coperte dei letti e stoviglie) è rigorosamente Liberty.
Il villino sorge in un ampio giardino che prima della guerra era arricchito da aiuole variopinte, una serra in vetro, un gazebo in ferro e un sedile maiolicato; oggi rimane la grande fontana circolare, decorata da grosse aragoste.
Nonostante le gravissime perdite del periodo bellico, l'edificio è caratterizzato da ricchissima decorazione a rilievo in cemento idraulico.
Questi fregi sono composti da soggetti marini e floreali che si ripetono su pareti, mensole e sottogronda.
All’interno sopravvivono i mobili della sala da pranzo e la porta a vetri tra l’ingresso e il salotto.
Al piano superiore, quello più conservato, fregi di foglie, frutti e fiori indicano il nome delle stanze.
Villino Ruggeri
Villino Ruggeri is one of the most extraordinary examples of Art Nouveau architecture in Italy, built between 1902 and 1907 by Oreste Ruggeri, a dynamic pharmaceutical and ceramic industrialist.
The direction of the works is entrusted to the Urbino architect Giuseppe Brega.
When the Ruggeri family occupies the building, everything (fixtures, decorations and furnishings of the rooms including handles, bed covers and dishes) is strictly Liberty.
The villa is located in a large garden that before the war was enriched with colorful flower beds, a glass greenhouse, an iron gazebo and a majolica seat; today the large circular fountain remains, decorated with large lobsters.
Despite the very serious losses of the war period, the building is characterized by a very rich relief decoration in hydraulic concrete.
These friezes are composed of marine and floral subjects that are repeated on the walls, shelves and under the eaves.
Inside, the furniture in the dining room and the glass door between the entrance and the living room survive.
Upstairs, the most preserved, friezes of leaves, fruits and flowers indicate the name of the rooms.
