Oops, I almost forgot about my self-imposed Wednesday upload day since I'm at home in a slight fever. Here is anyway a word written on a nice textured surface paper, I tried to leave a bit of the paper pattern visible in the black areas. This style might be worth exploring in a bit longer text and maybe with a bit less shading, let's see if I remember to try that. Made with same ol' felt-tip and gel pens. Original size about 8 x 4 cm.

I particularly liked the way the clarity of the letterforms contrasted with the difficulty of reading in a circle.
