My Keeping a Sketchbook class started on Saturday. Everyone brought their own morning tea and we drew that in the classroom while I talked (a lot). Then we went across the road to a park where we drew this tree, concentrating on the patterns in the bark & not trying to draw the whole tree. Future weeks will be totally out and about.
A lesson practicing emergency dismounts (basically falling off your horse in an emergency, always good to practice sometimes,) Also everyone is wearing some sort of Halloween thing, although most of it got taken off.
I hated practicing, but I wish that I would have stuck with it. Could be true for a lot of things that I lost interest in.
I'v been working with this for almost 6 months now. And it is part of longer learning process. Today somehing did happen in good way. Let's see what my teacher will say tomorrow..

So I took this semi-private tennis lesson every week when I was in San Diego..

Couldn't have asked for a beter moment to drive home, I reached 'my part of the country' just before sunset and just stood and watched. And clicked.

One of the porters from our group - he taught me some Indonesian walking down on our last day - so I now know how to say "cow" (Sapi), "chilli"(Lombok), and "You and I go home together to a house", which I was apparently alone in thinking had an air of innuendo about it.
The lesson is a little bit repetitive but the main point would be "when you take a shit close the door".
