This lesson was hard. Irregular verbs used as adjectives. I never can remember the rule especially when I am talking. Rules go out the window. If I tried to remember every grammatical rule as I spoke, I wouldn´t get one word out without a ten second pause.

This was my planning of “The First Lesson”. I had carefully selected teachers to certain roles due to their personalities. I also made sure to recreate as many elements of The Last Supper as possible. For example, I had the head of film hold money just as Judas did in The Last Supper. I also had all the teacher know who they were playing so they could recreate the facial expressions and posture of the disciples they were imitating. I thought about location and lighting a lot in order to receive the best results. Using a wide lens camera I was able to capture the whole scene.
Harvest season was studied interdisciplinarily through lessons in social studies, science, language arts, art, math, handwriting, and creative writing - then celebrated on October 11th by Ms. Schweikert's and Mrs. O'Toole's 2nd grade classes.
I really didn't want to mess this collage up but did and really liked how it turned out. I know things I'd do better next time, but it was interesting working with charcoal and the oil pastels. I had only used the oil pastels once before and didn't realize I needed to rub them. What a great effect. Can't wait to see what we do with it next week.
I taught a strobe lesson in Shinjuku, with the help of the talented Youko Sunshine and makeup by Beauty By Alexandre. After we got the makeup on, it went fantastically. Thanks to everyone involved, and especially to David and Tom.

Tonight both the essentials & intermediate classes learn how to eat pasta properly. The essentials class also discussed dealing with difficult people and situations. The intermediate class practiced table settings, from the simple to the complicated (hence all the glasses).
