lines - angles - circles... geometry.
pic uploaded for #FlickFriday theme #BeautifulGeometry.
Hard to say what is "Your Best Shot" ... but this could be in my case, because I only had one chance to shoot before the authority came out to forbid me to continue doing it and the result was almost perfect ... just what I wanted achieve.
The last ice age moved these boulders into formation; perhaps the next one will move them further to the right.

19/100: 100 x challenge - Flowers
19/100: 100 Flowers 2020
I've had this idea since my forget-me-nots came into flower but ironically kept forgetting to do it when thinking about my daily photo.
The eggshell is from when we had wood pigeons nesting in our wisteria either last year or the year before...they nest in our garden every year. It's so delicate, I worry it will break when I store it in my props stash. It has actually broken a bit at the bottom which helped to keep it standing for this shot. Not sure how many more photos I will get from it before it totally disintegrates.

37/52: The 52 week challenge - Think of your surrounding as elements of light, not objects.
Not exactly my surroundings but elements of light none the less. I don't know why I was struggling with this one when photography is all about light, I think that I think too much about what to do and then my mind goes blank. It's a miserable day today, the light is appalling so I used my iPad as a backdrop and light source again (in a darkened room) with this patterned tumbler.
I will be away for the weekend, with no internet access. will catch up when back, sorry to post and run. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
Attracted by the minimalism of this scenery I kept the beach on the foreground and just the bridge in the blue water and sky.

Day 40/365:
This is one of the tulips that appeared in my image on day 33. I don't feel this has worked as well as the leaf I did yesterday but it was still a pain to remove all the dust particles, even though I wiped it with anti static first. Maybe this is telling me to go back to high key ;)

Early morning on the shores of Lake Rotorua, on the North Island of New Zealand.
It had been raining the night before, and I awoke early to a most beautiful light through the mist with the waters of the lake serene and calm and an enchanting pale turquoise.
It was so very quiet standing there. Altogether, a truly magical, emotive and meditative moment in time.

I have taken this photograph on my hike in Tyrol. It was icy cold but the beautiful soft forms of the snow shone resplendent in the evening sun...
Es war eisig kalt, aber die schönen weichen Formen des Schnees glänzten in der Abendsonne...

I went to pick a few of these wild violets from my garden and there seemed to be a little snail graveyard by them. It seemed a good idea to use a natural vase for these little beauties. Getting them to stay put was another matter entirely. The top one was obviously camera shy! I did a version without the extra shell but my husband preferred this one, since I couldn't decide I went with his choice.
