Smile on Saturday - Red on white background
The little hearts are from my craft stash and the large one hangs in my bathroom. I do have quite a lot of hearts dotted around my house.
My back is improving slowly, once again, but I am continuing with the iPhone, which has proved invaluable, until I feel able to pick up the big camera again.

Another shot from my spiderweb session. This one was just begging to be converted to black and white.

Episode I
Hi, Folks,
It’s me - LIM - the model for today’s theme. Climbing up this scaffold for a photo was o.k,, but hanging there for hours was dreadful. All because she couldn’t decide which photo to choose. Finally I reminded her that ‘Less is More’ – I was really fed up with that modeling job, which is understandable, isn’t it? Just want to mention that I was given half a bucket of honey as a compensation for all my efforts - isn’t it naughty that my honey was labeled ‘Less is More’ (!?!) although I really did my very best and …
- hopefully I’ve made you smile – at least, a little bit
for now just forget about ‘Less is More’ please smile as much as you can
Bear Hugs,
LIM🐻
(former model-in-chief)

This is an edited version of a pic I took some time ago, on a visit to Cape Cod. Taken in Wellfleet when we stopped for a meal on our way back from Provincetown. Just before sunset, the light was gorgeous. It's one of my favourite photos from the trip.
I cropped it and cloned out a couple of distractions. Original in comments.
I really need to go to a salon- not to get my #hair dressed like this..but, a #Haircut will do :)

HSS! see dull, drab original photo far down in the comments section. i mainly used color change and gimp seamless filter to achieve this abstraction.

Woken up by a cold breeze, I found myself in a temple like structure...to my surprise, it was located high up in the sky...no way to escape and no way to tell where I was...all I was able to see were clouds ranging in every direction as far as my eyes could see..
I love these simple photos but with a great visual impact, I hope you like them too!
Thanks for your always kind comments!
Macro Monday - Gold or Silver
The spoon has silver leaf flakes in it...from my craft stash.
I bought the spoon from a local Fair trade shop. It was made in Laos from aluminium salvaged from deactivated unexploded bombs dropped on their province during the secret war which took place between 1964 and 1973.
A percentage of the money from the sale of these spoons goes to a charity to help young disadvantaged Laotians further their education.
I spent far too long getting a photo for this theme. I just could not find inspiration...if anyone finds my mojo please return it forthwith...many thanks in anticipation. HMM
Couldn't resist to get up at sunrise and capture this field which I've driven past many times en route to get my daughter at college.
(Technical info, 3-shot pano)
After this capture, I had the great fortune to meet a very friendly farmer who invited me onto his farm and "stay as long as I wanted" with my camera. This was magic to my ears (and eyes), and to anyone who is beckoned to the country! I will be posting more of those images in the coming days :)
