My little Marley is less of the might hunter his ancestors were and more of a companion. Although he still has his natural instincts to chase small creatures into a corner to eat, he no longer must rely too much on his instinct because regardless if he doesn’t catch anything, he’ll still have food and water in his bowls. As for the traditional collar made of leather with markings to signify who he belongs to instead he has a collar made from fabric, small metal id tag, and a leather accessory of my favorite anime show called “Naruto”. While the little devil in the second picture acts as the great protector of the second floor and bites the ankles of anyone without permission and warning. Although her ancestors were mainly companions and lapdogs, she tends to make her own role as guard dog of the house.
Robin looks less crazy than annoyed in this picture, taken as she stands at the edge of Crazy Woman Road. I don't recall anything annoying her at this point, but you never know. I might have been driving her crazy with puns.
The origin of the name of Crazy Woman Creek and the canyon and road that go with it is sadly one of those things lost to history, though there are several apocryphal tales floating around. One says that the name was a translation error from the name the Indians had given the creek. This version holds that in the old days, the various native groups would gather in the canyon once a year to trade with each other, and they'd celebrate the gathering with a festival. Inevitably, the festival would get rowdy, leading to all sorts of things that would give all the Euro-American descendants of Puritans stern expressions. The original name, according to this tale, should have been translated as "Prostitute Creek" or possibly "Harlot Creek." A Puritan type just calls it crazy.
The more literal stories involve some woman--either a young Indian or a young white settler--being forced to watch as her husband and children are killed. (The ethnicity of the people doing the killing changes so that it's always the inverse of the people getting killed.) The trauma of this drove the woman mad, and she refused to ever leave the place by the creek where her family had died. The white woman version of this even made it into Jeremiah Johnson, a 1972 Hollywood movie staring Robert Redford as the eponymous mountain man. Johnson builds the woman a little cabin and leaves her alone, and eventually she dies of starvation.

Less Than One is an international, multigenerational group show offering in-depth presentations of work from the 1960s to the present by 16 artists central to the Walker’s collection.
The exhibition surveys a range of approaches—from painting and sculpture to drawing, installation, moving image, performance, and photography—sequencing compelling groupings of works by each artist that underscore the often provocative, historically charged, and risk-taking nature of the Walker’s multidisciplinary holdings. Less Than One includes pieces by Lutz Bacher, Ericka Beckman, Trisha Brown, Paul Chan, Trisha Donnelly, Renée Green, Charline von Heyl, Jasper Johns, Joan Jonas, Meredith Monk, Adrian Piper, Sigmar Polke, Pope.L, James Richards, Dieter Roth, and Kara Walker.

Pigweed flea beetles are pretty, but somewhat less than desirable, since they kind of eat leaves, and my flowers kind of need leaves. I didn't try to kill them, though; they didn't do really significant damage, and I won't use insecticides because if it'll kill undesirable insects, it's probably not great for desirable ones. The Backyard Bug Bistro was created specifically for my little friends; I don't want to cause them any harm.
As part of my "finding old stock at EB Games" campaign, I happened across good old Scouter Vegeta, or as the box says.. just "Vegeta".
So this particular incarnation of the character takes us almost all the way back to the beginning of Dragonball Z. Long before multiple Super Saiyan power ups and tournaments for the fate of the world with superpowered bioweapons, things were somewhat simpler.
The main threat to existence?
Aliens hunting for the Dragon Balls.
IIRC, after Goku and Piccolo barely fend off Raditz, the first evil Saiyan they come into contact with, the next pair of evil Saiyans are Nappa and our subject today, Nappa.
There are some cosmetic differences between this Vegeta and the others, of course. He's wearing what I believe is battle armour for Frieza's elite troops (they were BFFs at the time) and has that infamous scanner that allows for the reading of battle power of opponents and reminding people that everything is over 9,000.
One of the more significant changes, however, is the tail.
Saiyans are born with tails, and while they have this the sight of a full moon turns them into giant berserk ape that lays waste to anything around them. Very handy for planet conquering type activities, as you can imagine.
Contents of the package are pretty straight forward. You get the figure, four faces (neutral, sneer, gritted teeth, yelling) and I don't think any of them are unique to this set, two heads (one for use with the scouter), two scouters (one blank, one with fancy HUD stuff), crossed arm part, additional hands (clawed hands, open palm hands, dedicated left hand with crushed scanner) and an extended tail.
Being a 2.0 Dragonball figure, it goes without saying that the articulation and paint apps are strong, with the usual fuzzy paint masking that are part and parcel of the Figuarts game. Build quality wise I find that while things are generally good overall, I find that my right arm doesn't like to stay attached that well. An issue not limited to Vegeta in the entire Figuarts catalogue, but annoying none the less.
As with the other variants, you're gonna buy this Vegeta for the purposes of recreating certain scenes, or to get parts to kitbash your own ultimate figure. Black haired sculpt is nice to have, and actually having two such heads makes displaying this figure along side another black haired Vegeta possible, but alas its the wild and bushy villain Vegeta hair, which is more akin to his SSJ2 hair, rather than the more streamline base Vegeta look.
Oh well!

Lessing House is a historic office building in the Neustadt district. Built from 1908-09 for Carl Ebert. The architects were Albert Lindhorst for the core building and Emil Schaudt for the facade. The bay window has decorative brickwork and side windows with decorative figures. Limestone relief.
On the ground floor were stores, the upper floors were reserved for Mietkontore. The largely free allocatable floor areas were designed according to the wishes of the tenant. However, the narrow twisty layout meant technical difficulties. The technical equipment corresponded to the contemporary state with a lift and modern sanitary facilities.
