No leprachauns found @ Lumphini.

By looking at this from different views, it looks like it was taken in August 2007. The house down the street is still in the early stages of their construction project.

In our garden the tall white phlox are in bloom, the fall sedum is tall but not blooming and the lawn is dry. All indicating early/mid August. I wasn't home, but the dried up outline of my car on the driveway makes it look like it hadn't rained in a while. Close up of the front shows the new door wasn't installed yet. Finally I can put my archeology training to use - dating google street views!

Wish I'd been out mowing the front lawn that day! Hope they come back when we get our landscaping projects done. :-)

Leprachaun Birthday cake

Yeah, I know I have a lot of these shots, but I just love the lines of the Navajo Sandstone. A sort of celebratory reminder that I'll (fingers crossed) be seeing this again during the holidays this year!

Everybody's takin' the chance!

Leprachaun dance!

Not least of all because the bed holds four hats.

(I also feel much much better now -- lots of sleep and actually being able to eat and drink all does wonders.)

very un-ambitous today snapped this leprachaun bearing 39th St merchant cupons.

It's the magic of the leprachauns that makes me fly.

Developed myself

These cute little guys i got at the flea market...when we bought them they woman gave us a little leprachaun for free that now lives on the dash board of the 69 bus.

it was so sad. before she wrapped them up she kissed each one on the forhead and said goodbye. I guess they were her mothers.

I sort of wish the front one wasnt the out of focus one..but I think i like it that way. it makes you look further into the picture

The luckiest Brutus in the bunch.

I photoshopped this little addition into my picture of Glin Castle

Having seen their wives, perhaps we should stop calling them a bunch of fairies...

The horse is probably running away from leprachauns

This is Andre's mum....in her green rain suit! He he...

Shamrocks and Leprachauns

It's actually a double rainbow, faintly in the upper right.

A 7-year-old friend visited last night and drew this scene, which I hope will bring some sunshine to folks out there who maybe haven't seen too much of the sun lately.

That little house belongs to a mouse. It's two stories, and the mouse's bedroom is on the top floor. There are all kinds of different plants, but one of them (I bet you can guess which) is a piece of gold. The mouse is getting up early tomorrow morning, because it's going to get the gold before the Leprachaun does.

I mean, wow. What a lot is going on! The artist has a vision for the inside of the house, and what's going to happen. This isn't just a picture, it's a whole story with a setting and a plot and characters.

If you see some wonderful art by a young artist, take a snap of it and send it to me. I'd love to feature it here. And, to hear the story behind the picture. AND, offer other kids some inspiration to come up with their own stories.

What a great way to brighten your day a bit.

My pin on my shorts says "Let's Shamrock!" with a little Leprachaun on it with a guitar.
