Last week we celebrated Griffin's birthday with a trip to two of his favorite places - the MOST in Syracuse and Build A Bear. While he made himself a frog dressed like a leprachaun, his older brother created this turtle. Not for himself of course, because at ten years old he is too cool for stuffed animals. No, this was made for ME. :) Her name is Mi-shell (sorry) and she has made her home on the shelf over my computer.

at the historical "folk village" where you get to see the traditional housing in Korea. Tiny. possibly related to the leprachauns in Ireland - same penchant for cabbage...

Probably the coolest hat you've ever seen. It goes to my leprachaun costume. I carry around a bail of chocolate gold and disperse them to lovely ladies.

Year 2 of the 365 Days Project

The Mystery Spot is a gravitational anomaly located in the redwood forests just outside of Santa Cruz, California. It is a circular area of effect around 150 feet or 46 meters in diameter. The Mystery Spot has amazed and perplexed hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world, and many return time and time again to experience these puzzling variations of gravity, perspective, and height.

Some speculate that cones of metal were secretly brought here and buried in our earth as guidance systems for their spacecraft. Some think that it is in fact the spacecraft itself burried deep within the ground. Other theories include carbon dioxide permeating from the earth, a hole in the ozone layer, a magma vortex, the highest dielectric biocosmic radiation known anywhere in the world, and radiesthesia. Whatever the cause is, it remains a mystery.

Tonight I made corned beef and cabbage. And the oh so Irish chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. A stray leprachaun ran through when we weren't looking and left us some gold.
