Amur leopards

Like the Amur tigers this Amur leopard spent quite a while sleeping while I was at Marwell recently but it did wake up in the end, giving visitors the chance to get a good look at its beautiful face. A friend of mine told me there's only about 40 of these left in the wild :(

Leopard (Panthera pardus)

This is my and many peoples favorite animal. The eye contact is what makes this image work for me. This is a formidable predator and at close proximity sent a chill down my spine.

Leopard Skin Jasper

This was taken in South Africa on safari. It was a great morning and this leopard was just surveying the land from the top of this ant hill. A very memorable morning.
