It's been 4 weeks since I photographed Brookfield Zoo's Snow Leopard cub, Everest. He has grown quite a bit, and boy does he like to play! He keeps his mom, Sarani, very busy! It is so fun to watch them interact with one another.

Leopards in the process of mating. Mala Mala Game Reserve in South Africa. Based on when this female's cub was spotted it is thought this was a successful adventure.

 

How cool is this leopard. He was on a mission to get somewhere. Just ignored the viewing vehicle and kept on walking. I'll call him Johnnie!

Most people don't know this, but snow leopards know how to roll their Rs. You can see her practicing with her tongue right there.

Photo of wild African Leopard - Panthera pardus. This leopard was photographed in the Sabi Sands region of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. This Leopard was relaxing in the last sunshine of the day waiting for light to fall so she could go hunting.

 

This photograph was taken with a Canon 7d, and a Sigma Lens 150-500 f5.0-6.3

Four days spent in the heart of the Serengeti were not nearly enough. It is a place of wonder, of delights and of incredible moments shared with spectacular creatures.
