Nowhere near as sharp as I would have liked but was up against raindrops (lots of!) on glass...

This was a hard enclosure to shoot. Through most of the area, there was a tight mesh screen. In the middle of the mesh there were two large thick glass panes. This shot is through the glass which causes a little loss of sharpness.
A re-edit of a photograph that I took many moons ago. My editing skills have come along way since I first uploaded so I thought it was worth redoing.
Female leopard scent marking a tree near the Okavango Delta. This leopard was beginning to patrol and search for food as the sun was starting to set.

We had just finished a magnificent leopard sighting with a kill and were driving away happily talking about the experience and chimping away when our resident landscape photographer, Len Saltiel, spotted another leopard nearby.
Less then 30 meters away, she neared the road as she appeared to be moving toward the other leopard and its kill. A vocal snarl from the other leopard and she had second thoughts and quickly disappeared into the bush.
This was the last day of our safari and our vehicle had yet to make a good leopard sighting and we were fortunate to have two great sightings within 15 minutes of entering Kruger.
Both male, these adorable cuties were born May 10, 2010 to first-time mom Himani and dad Vijay.
