A full belly after taking down an impala, this young female leopard is resting and cleaning herself before finding water.

This time not a jaguar but an Amur leopard. That's my only picture sadly, since the conditions weren't so good.

Sorry for being away so long.... It was planting time on the farm!!! Long hours, long days...

As soon as we finished we jumped at the opportunity to visit Kruger, obviously our favourite holiday destination!!!

Back from another fantastic trip to Kruger Park! What a place!! It was very hot, very rainy… But does'nt matter, it was Kruger!!!!

Every time I try to spot the magical leopard, but this was the best I could manage...!!!

What a great experience it was though!!! (Always is!!!) (Just 2km out of Skukuza..!!)

This old Leopard was never far away from National Express work throughout its working life - after starting out with Ribble / Standerwick, and then National Travel North West, it spent its final years with Border Tours, in whose ownership it made regular appearances back at Chorlton Street on NX duplicates. I don't think it got much further than Blackpool or Birmingham, but it would still have been far preferable to a Willowbrook Spacecar !

He was so close and my batteries failed , aaaaaagh . Good job i'd stuck my compact in my bag .

I managed to get (my camera) this close because he was so interested in the lemurs across the road.

What can be more surprising than seeing this Ghost at night in her habitat. Last trip of Chopta was started with this encounter on the way to Chopta at 0106 hrs.

Grains in this photograph is un-avoidable as I had to boost ISO to 12800 and put my Nikon D500 a challenge to capture in the light of cars headlight only!!!.

I'm thankful to my driver Mukesh, without his support I couldn't have captured this memorable moment.

The leopard is rarely found in cold or high-elevation environments and is best known in its more familiar home in the savannas of Africa, where populations are relatively stable.

However, in the northernmost part of its range, a rare subspecies of this cat lives in the temperate forests and harsh winters of the Russian Far East. This is the Amur leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis).

With only 28-30 Amur leopards left in the wild, it is one of the most endangered big cats in the world.

Leopard (Panthera pardus) on the move after Impala. This female leopard had found shelter underneath one of the safari vehicles, using it as a temporary blind as she stalked the impala. Unfortunately, one of the "look-out" impala spotted her, and the group scampered away. Masai Mara, Kenya.
