Today’s interviewee is the man once described as “the man with the silkiest voice you’ll ever hear” (by me), Ted Viera. Trust me, I’m not wrong on this one. If that wasn’t frustrating enough for those of us with voices like broken glass scraping against...

The grand name in photography. The Leica Summicron 50mm is a perfect partner for the X-trans sensor in the Fujifilm X-E1.
The only bit I had to get used to was the smallness of the lens compared to modern day lenses or my Nikon lenses.
At the right the Fujifilm 18-55 OIS lens for comparison.
Handheld at F/3.2 with the Nikkor 60mm AF-D, but as you can see there is already a green fringe on top of the X-E1! You won't see this chromatic aberration with the Leica lenses on the X-E1. Just look at the previous photos. Chromatic aberration with Nikon is my largest gripe about Nikon and Nikon lenses. A this is a damn overcast day, not even some sunlight. (which makes CA worse in Nikon camera's)
A very happy cow with enormous horns, which loved to be scratched behind the ears.
The afternoon sun colours the yellowish houses golden.
Jaisalmer is not without reason called the 'Golden city.

342/366: 1953 Leica IIIf Camera
I was given an amazing gift – a 1953 Leica IIIf Camera with a Leica Summicron-M f/2 Collapsible 50mm lens. Both in excellent condition and from what I can tell all the mechanisms work and it is a fully functional (manual) camera. To say I was surprised when it arrived in the mail would be an understatement. I’m excited to get some black and white film and go shoot some landscapes with this beauty.

A beautiful girl, who absolutely wanted to have her picture taken, and I obliged of course. How could I do otherwise with this smile?

I have taken many pictures of small milling shops all over India, where people bring their own grain to have it milled for making all kinds of bread.
This miller has his shop at the market of Murshidabad, West Bengal.
I'm the first one to call this view a Birds Eye View, right?
Taken with a Fuji X-E1 and Leica Summicron 50mm at f/11. Out-of-camera with no edits.
Green chilies and a lime on a string can be seen hanging in the entrances to many houses all over India. They are supposed to ward off evil. I took many pictures of them. This one I saw at a small fish-market on the banks of mighty Brahmaputra in Guwahati, Assam

The 35mm and 50mm Summicron lenses have returned, took them for a quick test on the Fujifilm X-Pro1 on a lunch-walk this afternoon
