This legendary snake, son of Loki who fought Thor in the icy waters of the Scandinavian fjords?
This Viking myth inspired my next moc which you will be able to see in 2023/2024 in the exhibitions where I will be invited with the magazine BRIQUES MAG !

Lots and lots of sugar paste and food coloring, for the wall, the floor, the table (grahams covered), the hearth (wafers covered), the hat and the cauldron. Isomalt sugar that I molded (make my own molds) for the skulls, the vials, the stone, the candle, the character and dark and white chocolate for the old grimoires

Einen Teil seiner Jugend verbrachte Adrien in Biel, wo sein Vater zunächst bei Brandt & Cie, der späteren Omega, arbeitete. Später übernahm der Vater in Biel das Restaurant «Paradisli», wo der junge Adrien gemeinsam mit seiner Schwester seine ersten Auftritte hatte.

Dieses Bild zeigt die Kanko Maru im Yachthafen von Nagasaki. Obwohl das 66 Meter lange Schiff so antik aussieht, wurde es erst 1987 auf Kiel gelegt. Es handelt sich dabei um einen originalgetreuen Nachbau der ursprünglichen Kanko Maru, die 1852 in den Niederlanden vom Stapel lief und 1855 an Japan übergeben wurde. Für das aufstrebende Land stellte dieses Schiff einen wichtigen Meilenstein dar - es war das erste Kriegsschiff der japanische Flotte mit Dampfmaschinenantrieb. Deren Leistung von 150 PS wirkt auf zwei seitliche Schaufelräder. Die Bewaffung bestand aus insgesamt vier Vorderladerkanonen - einer 60-Pfünder und drei 30-Pfünder.
Die heutige Kanko Maru, die als Touristenschiff vor der Küste von Nagasaki kreuzt, ist natürlich nicht mehr bewaffnet.
