we will never quite know what it could have been

I think he was waiting for her to lick his head

Lefty's story.

This is a totally awesome squirrel!!! He is missing most of his left arm. He has the best personality and is not pushed around by his peers at all. He absolutely loves roasted (unsalted) whole peanuts & I love feeding him :) He lives in a Virginia state park by a lake and is a favorite among the visitors there. He has been around for at least 3 years.

Dinner at Lefty's; on 30th one block north of Upas

This bull, affectionately named "Lefty II, " comps on a bush here at McGregor Mountain Lodge in Estes Park, Colorado.

Jack tries out the older, larger version of the HK MP5.

Both of our kids are leftys. It took some getting use to. Especially shopping for lefty gloves. :)

We're beginning to suspect our boy is a southpaw.

A female Grackle

MUCH less busy background, although the angle on the dragonfly is not as good as the other Lefty pic.

Cable routing. I am not sure if this is the right way but it makes more sense to me than the abrupt angles of following the cable guides.

Little 3-legged Douglas Squirrel at our favorite B&B

This guy had seen better days. He was hanging out in the tree just outside my house. I don't recall seeing a spider this big in a spider web in quite some time. He certainly didn't flinch at me shoving my 70-300mm lens a few inches away from him. The B+W close up filter worked pretty well but it makes me want a real macro lens.
