I don't particularly enjoy the 737 family. I much prefer the 777 or, honestly, any two-aisle aircraft. They're much, much quicker to load on than anything smaller. Here I am, writing in my journal, observing a unique sight above what turned out to be Northern California :D

20th May 2010, I had the pleasure of doing my own photo shoot. Of course there were no professional stylist, makeup artist and photographer (with assistant), I took all this with my Nikon D40x- no tripod,no external flash, no softbox, just the cam -myself and my left hand -(i am lefthanded by the way)

Nothing like an entourage to draw attention. Cheerio for now, dahlings!

This custom electric archtop was crafted by Allen Park, MI luthier Gary Zimnicki in 2007. Additional pictures and detailed specs are available at www.zimnicki.com/archtop_electric_lam_allpix.html. Gary makes some of the finest acoustic and electric guitars I have ever seen or heard, as well as a plethora of other stringed instuments, from mandolins to ouds.

Not really - I can't afford a Fender Stratocaster. I'm left handed which makes it worse. More expensive. Its not even a Squier but a cheap knock off.

I'd like a real Strat though...

"Chip Runyon struck out Alec Porzel with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth as fourth-seeded Virginia Tech held on to defeat top-seed Notre Dame, 4-3, in first-round action Thursday at the BIG EAST Conference baseball tournament.

Notre Dame (45-10-1) lost more than just a game, as freshman second baseman Steve Sollmann-the team's third-leading hitter and the BIG EAST rookie of the year-suffered a season-ending left hand injury when he was hit by a pitch from lefthanded starter Joe Saunders during the Irish ninth-inning rally." - Baseball Drops 4-3 Game To Virginia Tech At BIG EAST Tournament

Sometimes these things just happen.

This is a past self-portrait from my Daily Portrait Project, in which I made a non-photographic image of myself every day for three years, from 3/15/07 to 3/15/10. This series of self-portraits can be viewed in it's entirety at studiojuliakay.com/portraitproject.
