Chickadee was hoping there was a little bit more water for him to drink, he kept watching to see if it would leak again, for about a minute before taking off again, I hope I see him again soon.
68012 departs Carlisle with the 3J11 Kingmoor circular squirts as it heads south down the WCML just shy of 10 late, which resulted in me having to move from my original spot just further back as the sun had dropped too low.
I have spent 4 days chasing 68012 on this working and yet this is the only time I've managed it. Twice the forecast has been wrong, when I went for a night shot of it, the station locked it's door well in advance and then yesterday was thwarted by more cloud at Maryport, and on my journey back I intended to bag it at Dalston where it was 100% guaranteed sun however I apparently picked the only train that didn't stop at Dalston station as I ended up returning straight back to Carlisle where by this point I was on plan F. I got off the train and walking to this location I found that my bottle of water I'd had in my bag had leaked all over my secondary camera, through my bag and all the way down my grey joggers leaving a rather suspicious wet patch on my rear leaving me to trudge here in complete embarrassment only to further get caked in mud and have it turn up late. I shall try again in the dark tonight but I'm not hopeful. I'd ideally hoped to get it while it was still relatively clean.

Urban fragment of a leaking stand-pipe in Glasgow, Scotland. I couldn't resist freezing the action of the water droplets being beautifully backlit in the low winter sun.
Thank you for viewing, faving or commenting on my images, have a great day!

On the Oxford canal, a gate leaks around its old timbers of the lock gate. The nuts and bolts are another "locking" aspect in the shot.
One of my Hasselblad backs has a light leak. (I need to figure out which one it is). Every shot in this roll had some variation of the light leak. The leak is at the bottom right hand corner so I could crop it out of most of the shots. I was shooting with Fuji Reala, which gives wonderful purple tones, and it seems to have made the light leak in this shot a little purple. I am keeping it and calling it the magic of film.

firstly, I am aware that i spelt it wrong. I did it on purpose for effect/ I ran out of Cs.
Lack of ideas. I can't work out if I hate this or not.
I light leak photos I don't like to make them look cool.
I was SO surprised today to find I had not one, but TWO photos explored. So happy I cannot believe that this happened.
I can't believe that about a months ago, I was going to quit.
I'm going to keep going.
It was getting dusk when I saw this light reflecting off the upper clouds and down onto this scene.
Such an amazing place and I was lucky to see this.
I guess everyone is busy getting ready for holiday time and for some, Christmas.
The temperature is expected to be 40 C + here on Christmas day, so looking forward to your snow images to cool down :)

I saw this little oasis of glased grass while drving through Reykjavík last Saturday. As I had no camera or time to attend to photographing the scene I decided to wake up early next day and visit the place again. i was lucky enouh to have some beautiflul colors of sunrise to decorate my image. I think this image lacks some of the wow factor I'm continueously striving for and occasionally achieving. But I think it catches some of mood and beauty of a bright and still December day in Iceland.
The place is a water well near a fish farm in the middle of Reykjavík. I guess the owners might attend to the leak soon.
The processing is as usual, manual mixing of 3 bracketed exposure on a tripod. I then gave it a saturation boost with curves in LAB mode. Then curves for contrast, selective colors and smart sharpen + cloning out some ugly ligtposts.
