Sun rays penetrate the trees in Hillock Woods, Princes Risborough. This was taken at the same location to the image I posted the other day, but composed just to capture the tree trunks.
Some friends of mine had a wedding on their farm and the sun took a moment to quickly show its self, luckily I had my phone.

20189 and 20205 get an admiring glance from the car park of L&R Storage at Bordesley. Running late due to an air leak that was rectified at Crewe they're seen climbing the Camp Hill line over the Chiltern main line working 6Z21 Kirkdale Carriage Sidings to Kings Norton on track plant. Taken with permission from L&R Storage.
Leake Street Tunnel is one of London’s coolest street art spots. Tucked away underneath Waterloo station, it’s an ever-changing canvas of colourful murals.
Leake Street graffiti tunnel is one of London’s not-so-hidden gems. This 300 metre tunnel is the city’s largest legal wall and has been a bastion of London’s street art scene since 2008.
Leake Street Tunnel wasn’t always a legal wall. Before 2008 it was just a dank and grimy tunnel squirreled beneath Kings Cross Station.
That all changed when British street art superstar Banksy (yes, the Banksy) decided to hold a street art festival called Cans Festival down in the tunnel.
Banksy invited the biggest and brightest names on the international street art scene to come down and put up a piece of work in the tunnel. And that was it – Leake Street was no longer dank and grimy, but instead a bold, colourful and cool place where artists could showcase their work.
Since then, Leake Street graffiti tunnel has been flying the flag for the London street art scene. The fact that this is a legal wall means that artists can work in peace and that no two visits are ever the same.
Leake Street Tunnel is a short walk away from Waterloo Station. It takes about five minutes to walk it from the station via York Road.

One of the things with film photography is, that one never knows, what comes out. With this roll of film, I suddenly had light leaks in it. No idea why. Maybe it happened during the development, maybe I was not careful enough while taking out the film? Who knows. After all, it's about learning to find the beauty in things, others would call a fail. I like the mood in this picture and yes, maybe it was better, without needing to crop and without the leaks, but it is as it is and I like it.

Some excellent weather patterns blowing through the valley today which also means some much needed rain in this desolate desert.
As the clouds were rapidly changing and moving so was the sunlight. I was able to snap this quickie as the mountain top was sun kissed but just for a moment.
Best viewable experience on black so dim the lights and have peak (err, I mean) peek! lol
This collection of images is in color—my first collection contained black and white photos. The film simulation I used for this collection was not something I normally would have chosen—it was a little bold, intense and flashy for me. Since I didn’t want to spend money on the FIMO app I was using on my phone for this project I embraced the constraints this led to and used this simulation because it came free with the app. This exercise in getting outside my comfort zone was a growing experience for me. I found it interesting how the app made variable, random decisions for me adding elements I had no control over—bright, saturated colors and simulated light leaks—that added an element of joy, surprise and cheer to the pictures I took which I found to sometimes be uplifting and encouraging.

Haven't been shooting much recently, there's too much going on at the moment... on the plus side I am getting through the archives!
That little blip in the distance is my collie, who is possibly the only one who loves the snow more than me :-)

My Holga lost a foam film roll pad resulting in a "fat roll." That type of roll will have light leaks but I didn't know what to expect. This is much better than I expected.

One of the film backs that came with my newly acquired RB67 has a slight light leak. I've order replacement seals, so hopefully this will not be an ongoing issue. I liked this photo and I don't think I will be able to go back and capture the icicle given the rise in temperatures this week.

Last weekend we went to San Francisco to watch the historic flight of the solar aircraft called Solar Impulse fly over the Golden Gate Bridge. We had a nice picnic a Crissy Field. Waking in the park I noticed this bird bathing in a puddle of water, I could get quite close, the bird was too absorbed with her task.
I took thee bracketed RAW exposures, but used only the underexposed version to process a balanced HDR photo. After that I carefully pulled the curves and addd some light leak.

After the first big storm in our new house, we were quite surprised to discover water coming down our wall. I don't think a brand new house should have a roof leak. We had the roofers out to "fix" it but during the next storm, it still leaked. We had the roofers out again and now we're waiting for the next rain to make sure it's fixed for good this time.
On the bright side, the leak was in the bedroom so no LEGO sets or photo gear was damaged :-)
Have you seen it? It’s probably not on your top 10 list or maybe you didn’t even heard about but Milwaukee is one of the coolest spots here at mid-west. Ton of good location, beautiful lakefront and lot’s of good food! I don’t believe that all good images are necessarily at the end of the expensive trip, they can be definitely found in your neighborhood as well. What do you think?
