Leadership Emergence and Development Program participants visit some of Carr Fire's worst-hit areas in Redding, California, as part of their week-long training and site visit. (Photo by Michelle Fink)
I've been away working a lot with various clients. Some of the work I do with leadership and team development involves using imagery to explore dimensions of the self - to help raise awareness of one's strengths and potential for growth. A device I use is these A4-sized cards showing photographs and art - they're called Visual Explorer and are a wonderful tool for tapping into metaphors about the self (and life / work / etc). I took this picture a couple of Fridays ago: 100 images strewn on a boardroom tabletop, ready for the workshop.
For our future sake, let's get creative!
To create a future where everyone can access quality education and reach their full potential, we must shift education from work-oriented to more holistic and empowering. We must focus on teaching people the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a world of AI and empower them to take charge of their own lives.
