Le Bugue - Produits régionaux colors. Wallnuts and fresh garlic, some of the most important and delicious natural products of the Périgord region and France. Use some garlic, it's the best way to go "nuts" in the Dordogne region.

A long walk up the steep hill above Le Bugue (the one the old lady climbed every day) gave me some great views over the Vezere valley and the town

Local grown fresh Garlic, the perfect quality adds a special "French color" to food. Often used in French cuisine and one of the well known French delicacies. In taste much better than other import garlic (the kind that smells so very strong). Most of the French don't sell or buy a bulb but a whole string.

Signs of local art. Quite a lot of locally manufactured works of art are sold. These could be signs for other shops. Many locals also share in the "wealth" of tourism with homemade products until the tourist season comes to an end. Certainly, some very creative made and these signs cleverly created.
