This is not photoshopped! On this day, a huge sand cloud from the sahara desert lay over the Black Forrest in Germany and made the light glow in yellow-orange
Inside a dark and scary abandoned building at the Bombay Beach Estates.
Nice translucent paint on the windows here.
Bombay Beach is a census-designated place (CDP) in Imperial County, California, United States. It is located on the Salton Sea, 4 miles (6.4 km) west-southwest of Frink and is the lowest community in the United States, located 223 feet (68 m) below sea level.
The population declined for years and the buildings were rotting away, but by 2018, a number of people had moved into the settlement. An article in The Guardian stated that it was "enjoying a rebirth of sorts with an influx of artists, intellectuals and hipsters who have turned it into a bohemian playground". The Bombay Beach Biennale (pronounced like "be an ollie"), an annual art festival, is held here.

An old picture from a session with Sandrine (First picture from this session is here).
I like looking back at my pictures after some time. I often look at them very differently.

The 161 m Living Stone is described as "the world´s most advanced cable-laying vessel".
"The cable installation vessel ‘Living Stone’ is engineered with the latest innovations in its category. The vessel is equipped with two turntables below deck, each having a 5,000 tons cable capacity. Together the turntables can carry and transport more than 200 km of cable that can be installed in a single trip. Ample deck space of 3,500 m2 facilitates a revolutionary cable handling system with innovative and reliable cable handling tools for cable ends, connections and cable protection systems. Furthermore, the ‘Living Stone’ can be equipped with a third carrousel above deck with an additional load capacity of 2,000 tons and a 600 tons crane." (From the owner´s - Belgian DEME - home page)

Hickety, pickety, my black hen,
She lays eggs for gentlemen,
Sometimes nine and sometimes ten,
Hickety, pickety, my black hen,
My old hen's a good old hen,
She lays eggs for the railroad men.
Sometimes one, sometimes two,
Sometimes enough for the whole damned crew.

Amtrak's Celebrating 100 years of the Post Office Special was laying over in Chicago in 1999. A specially painted P42 provided the horsepower.

Possibly Common Hawker, although maybe a Brown Hawker. It did not seem large enough for that. The wings have colour. We saw lots of Blue ones. Saw several Southern Hawker I had to zoom a long way, the sun was the wrong angle and I was standing on a rather steep bank so not the best photo. I have never seen this species laying egs before.
A lovely stroll to the pond. Lots of Dragonflies, lots of fish jumping, a Heron, Red Admiral. Lots of Swallows and a couple of fungi. A lovely natter with an Eastern European gentleman who was fishing with no luck, we didn't tell him about all the fish at the other side of the pond. We were lamenting the amount of rubbish left behind by assholes, never seen so much there in 47 years.

Florida Gator hiding his rather large size behind some grass on waters edge...kind of creepy as we almost walked by without seeing him...
By still waters I lay down with the lambs
In pastures green I made peace with my soul
And I cared not for the night
While my guiding star shone bright
By still waters I lay down
I lay down.
