Oktober 1989 in Betrieb genommen. (Quelle: www.u-bahn-muenchen.de)
Munich’s Brudermühlstraße Underground Station is designed with light materials such as granite, stainless steel and sheet metal panels. The rear rails are painted in lavender blue, above the tracks the exposed concrete is painted in the same lavender blue shade and disappears from the viewer’s eye by the lighting concept.
The canopy above the platform area is almost white and gives the station a bright and friendly look. The platform floor is repeatedly interrupted by circular inlays of yellow and dark blue mosaic tiles, the seating groups and the lift are arranged accordingly. It was planned by the U-Bahn department together with the office of Brückner & Partner and put into operation on 28 October 1989. (Source: www.u-bahn-muenchen.de)

The Great Egret (Ardea alba) is a striking sight, the bolt of lightening in the bird world. It is an adaptive creature, hunting in both fresh and salt water and doing so in the typical heron fashion of slow methodical stalking...followed by the flash of movement as its head is thrown by its long neck at prey items. Hunted nearly to extinction in the 19th century for their plumage--their numbers dropped by 95%!--they have rebounded well now that laws protect them.

Space Shuttle Discovery blasts off from Kennedy Space Center's launchpad 39A on her final journey into space. Photo was taken with a remote camera using a sound activated trigger [you wouldn't want to be this close].

Electirciteitsfabriek (former electrical power plant), The Hague, The Netherlands.
Beautiful on the outside, hard and industrial looking on the inside:
The rollercoaster, called 'the savage' is part of an exhibition by Oscar Peters, named Volta. You can build your own cart to ride on the rollercoaster track.
I think the space suits the exhibition very well.

Have never managed to get a decent image of the Gherkin, but had some nice clouds on Monday. A low viewpoint usually makes it look a little squat and ugly, but the tilt shift helped solve that a little.
The climb up to this location was sketchy to say the least, but the climb back down is always the worst!!!

Y'know... the usual... Rocks, trees, waterfalls and sky. Oh yeah, then there's the moon too.
When I'm at Glacier Point I sometimes get this crazy idea that I want to fly around in this incredible terrain.
Located on Central Ave (Route 66) Launchpad is a club that hosts music from local bands and musicians. Currently no live music but plenty of virtual concerts,
A great venue that supports our local musicians. One of my fave signs found on Central.

Please view large on black (Press 'L') - else you'll see ugly jagged edges, because of the resizing
Lightning show over the launchpad at Kennedy Space Center waiting for a Spacex Falcon 9 rocket to launch.
I had the idea of a mini launchpad eversince the new lattice rails from lego came out but it took the New Elementary ( www.newelementary.com/ ) parts festival to complete this micro moc! I was interested in using the 'headlamp' as a rocket thruster and as the comms dishes on the tower. There are a couple more of the new, excellent flat silver parts and the new giant slopes in white.

The Battleship Building, Paddington, London, England
Well I was busy preparing my latest blog post yesterday, my first hopefully in a series of location guides to share with everyone.
It came about as I often get asked where a lot of my photos have been taken so I thought I would do a location guide of all the spiral staircases I have photographed in and around London. If you wish to have a read of it click the link below
www.aaronyeomanphotography.co.uk/london-spiral-staircases...
When I was doing my blog post I came across the photos of this wonderful building called The Battleship Building, what a name! I have not worked on these photos for almost 3 years and felt compelled to work on one of the images, I believe this is only one of maybe two Art Deco spiral staircases in London with the other being at the Daily Express building on Fleet Street (still on my list to get). Please correct me if I am wrong though.
Hope you are all having a great week so far!

Location Information
This iconic structure was built in 1968 as a maintenance depot for British Rail vehicles and is a highly visible landmark near an elevated motorway that is a major gateway to London. The mosaic-clad exterior has been cleaned and restored to its former glory. The interior has been reworked carefully to provide space and environmental controls appropriate for the day-to-day operations of a modern tenant whilst retaining original features. It now provides 30,000 square feet of office space with chilled beams for air conditioning, heating and lighting.
Traveled to deep space into the Lockman Hole region to photograph this Launchpad for alien spacecrafts. Stopped off at an unnamed planet's moon orbiting the star Alcor for dinner. The alien restaurant was ok. The food was great, but the place had no atmosphere. :P

Very rare colourful morning in Dubai combined with lots of haze creating a very unique atmosphere that you don't often see in this city. The scenery looks like a rocket ready for launch.
