À Grand-Sault, le majestueux fleuve Saint-Jean chute abruptement de 23 mètres dans une gorge s'étirant sur 1,5 kilomètre. Bien que les chutes soient saisonnières, la grandeur de la gorge demeure saisissante tout au long de l'année.
Grand-Sault ou Grand Falls, est la seule ville au Canada à arborer son nom dans les deux langues officielles.

The Falls and Gorge Park

At Grand Falls, the majestic Saint John River abruptly drops 23 meters into a gorge stretching for 1.5 kilometers. Although the falls are seasonal, the grandeur of the gorge remains striking throughout the year.
Grand Falls or Grand-Sault, is the only city in Canada to display its name in both official languages.

The Hidden Language of theRoses
The Rose blooms are delicious creatures ! Not just because they are fragrant. Not just because they have magical colours and forms. Not just because the moment you stare at them, you are transferred to other , better worlds. Not just because they have an aura with divine energy around them!
But also, because, the moment you are found in the middle of your blooming garden, the Roses with their blooming blooms, captivate SO much your strong attention, that you… forget to… eat when you are hungry, you forget your tasks of the day, you forget your appointments, your calls!! The only thing you want, is to go very close to them and “see” them with all your being and your senses!! To capture their Divine Beauty, because you know it is ephemeral, like all physical things…In order to have them by your side when the winter approaches, with its loooong dark, cold days, while themselves have already started hibernating until your new rendezvous in the coming Spring…
❤️You can admire here the magnificent Rose bloom of a David Austin Rose : Grace !! Her blooms’ form and apricot color harmony, are especially attractive and original!
Benedict went to work at E. Remington and Sons in nearby Ilion, N.Y., after his Hamilton graduation. This company not only manufactured arms and agricultural implements but also did piece work for inventors who devised new machines. One such invention, in 1873, was for a typewriter designed by Christopher Latham Sholes. Although the Remington company did not make much progress with the manufacture of the new instrument, Benedict realized its potential.
Benedict and two partners bought the rights to the typewriter and organized a firm to sell the “practical writing machine.” The name Remington was retained, and in 1902 the Remington Typewriter Co. was formed with Benedict as president until his retirement in 1913. Benedict, who served as a Hamilton trustee from 1897 until his death in 1935, provided funds for the Hall of Languages, built in 1897, and for the purchase of the Chapel organ.
Engraved by insects on my juniper tree, the uncertain message is a wooden petroglyph. Like any language, with study, one day I will know its meaning.

This lovely woman is Chrystal, who has tried to teach me American Sign Language (sadly Canadians use American sign) for the last two semesters. She is a lovely, bright and funny woman. When she was a little girl, the doctors told her parents she was retarded because of her inability to speak. I'd say perhaps they were the ones with the problem. Turns out she was only operating with 15 % of her hearing. Since then, she has lost it all. She uses a cochlear implant to hear and is fluent in sign as well as an excellent lip reader.
Tonight I write my final exam for Level 2. I've been reviewing so long I'm getting cross-eyed, or cross-fingered more accurately. The end of this class means I get a certificate. Yee haw!

Today I am traveling back to New Zealand which will be a 42 hours journey. and my heart needs to learn to understand and speak multiple languages.
Some say its the Language of Prayer,
some say its the Language between Lovers,
other means its the Language of the Spirit himself.
i know there are People here on Flickr who speaks that
Language (because sometimes there are talking with me)
Its the most beautyfull Language i know.

Sign Language is a visual means of communicating using gestures, facial expression, and body language. Sign Language is used mainly by people who are Deaf or have hearing impairments.
Most Deaf people who use sign language in the UK use British Sign Language (BSL); like English, it has its own grammar, syntax and lexicons.
BSL has been around for centuries and was created by deaf people forming communities throughout the UK. The first official record of BSL was at a wedding ceremony at St. Martin's Church in Leicester, 1576.
