Cotswold dry stone wall and Beech trees

A group of walkers on Reynards Lane near Hartington.

Entwistle, Lancashire

In the distance you can see the farm buildings which are just across the lane from our cottage. Happy Telegraph Tuesday & HTmT too.

Taken at the gorgeous 'Tis the Season ♥

A beautiful sunny day at the end of January, the light on the trees caught my attention, contrasting with the shadow area in the lane, so another shot to add to my collection from this local view.

I've never done many night shots so these are a bit of a first. Bought my first tripod the other day so this was its first job. My fingers are still so ccccold that I can barely type.

Finally the grey clouds have parted. Though the day is bright and warm under much of the vegetation water is just below surface level

This is Whixley Field Lane which passes Whixley Field House Farm on its way to Score Ray in North Yorkshire, England

lanes fenced off to direct the foot traffic into the BA Schools Offices Downtown.

….. A recent local walk around the back lanes of Edgmond, I liked the lines & the framing of the tree in this phone shot.…..Alan:-)….

* This image is fairly minimalist . A quiet track through woodlands near Goodmanham showing all the freshness of new spring growth . I do like April, in might be very wet and cold this year but the transformation of spring even after experiencing 70 of them still astonishes me .

This was beautiful day ..... and I got this road a going the other way ...

but I was fortunate enough, to get it this way too ...those shadows are my car .... Oh how I do love our mountains ...

Do view large if you can ...

Have a wonderful day my friends ... Cindy ...

Back in my college days I used to love the high contrast print paper you could get and spend ages processing shots like this!

Just takes a few mins in an app nowadays and a bit more user friendly!

First train of the day, 92214 with the service from Quorn to Leicester and return

There has been substantial lineside growth since the start of lockdown, I had to stand on the fence to get a clear shot.

It was heartwarming to see passengers and crew looking happy waving at people as the train passed

Chilterns, Hertfordshire - with oak tree and a dead squirrel. There is more traffic here than you might think. The reason is that in addition to the villagers we do have now have an urban population moving in from the cities. The latter are people with money. They have also imported their lifestyle - meaning for example that delivery vans are now criss-crossing the country lanes.

Series of six. This the only location locally for Yellowhammers that I know of. Not easy to see - this one was obliging but the male not so. I had to resort to manual focus to get passed the vegetation. He was just a tiny blob of bright yellow.

Our village at the bottom of Mill Lane. The building near the bridge is the Navigation Inn. The Canal is the Grand Union which eventually goes to London.
