Mal wieder konnte ich mich schlecht zwischen der Farb- und SW-Variante entscheiden. Vielleicht werde ich auch die SW-Version noch posten. Entstanden ist das Foto am Sella Joch mit Blick auf den Langkofel.
Once again I couldn't decide between the color version and the black and white one. Maybe I'll post the SW version too. The photo was taken on the 'Sella Joch' with a view of the Langkofel.

Just a simple Snapograph taken at Dungeness Romney Marsh Kent UK of a discarded & dilapidated boat that is just one of the many things that are scattered about the beach that have just been left behind to rot. I've deliberately gone for a higher contrast gritty look for this snap to emphasize the rot & decay etc.
I'm also working on a personal project called Things Left Behind and this will be one of the shots included.
"THANK YOU KINDLY" to anyone who finds this shot good enough to put amongst their "FAVES".

Interesting juxtaposition of a cattle farm against a Wind Farm. I captured this image while visiting the southernmost point in the Big Island of Hawaii and, for that matter, in the United States.
The Tawhiri Power LLC is an independent power producer that supplies electricity for the State of Hawaii. The Pakini Nui Wind Farm is Tawhiri's principle project and is located near South Point on the Big Island of Hawaii. Since 2007, the wind farm has supplied approximately 18,000 Hawaiian homes per year with a green and renewable source of electrical power.
About the Wind Farm:
The south point area of Hawaii is one of the best places in the world for a wind farm because of its exceptionally strong and consistent trade winds. As as result, Tawhiri Power LLC selected this location for the Pakini Nui Wind Farm.
Construction of the wind farm began in August of 2006 and was completed in early 2007. On April third, 2007 the wind farm began commercial operation. There are a total of fourteen General Electric 1.5 Mega-Watt SE turbines at Pakini Nui. These turbines can provide nearly 21 Mega-Watts of electricity for the Big Island of Hawaii.
The Pakini Nui Wind Farm is located 7 miles down South Point Road from its junction with Route 11.
Not the best of images but yesterday I decided to venture back to a place I visited regularly over 5 years ago . This particular spot was once a roosting ground for Short eared owls , unfortunately the farm land has been plowed and the owls never returned .. I've counted over 14 owls hunting in this area before and I know others have said 20+ at any one time . Once news broke of this the photographers started turning up in huge numbers , filling the 1.5mile long lane with cars etc .. 🙈
Not my scene at all so me being me I headed away from the crowds and found a small clump of trees which had an owl box in there occupied by a lovely barn owl 😃 After the SEO returned back home after the winter months I came back here to observe the barn owl throughout the rest of the year .. bliss ... And peaceful
So that's the story of this photograph 😆
There are times when fog is highly appreciated...!
