This is the St. Marks Lighthouse, located in the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, on Apalachee Bay, on the Gulf Coast, in the Florida Panhandle. I wish the water had been more still so that I could have gotten a better reflection.
I had to walk thru some mud to get to this shot! And I was amazed to see alligators in the area because I didn't know they could live in salty water, tho I guess there is enough fresh water mixed in here from a river which empties into the bay. There were some signs around warning people not to feed the gators. I also saw a snake next to this lighthouse on one of my visits.

Koh Phi Phi are two islands, Don and Leh, that were casually bathing their perfect self all the way to the end of the 20th century. Pretty much until the book and movie "The Beach" were released.
Don is flat, constructed and crowded as you can see on the picture.
Leh is rocky to the point where it's nearly impenetrable.
But nearly wasn't enough to spare the island from more tourists than it could welcome to the point that it is now been closed for a year, and at least until 2021.
That means more people stuck on Don.
Phi Phi, hard to resist.
I wonder what it'd be like if I turned the camera around.

On July 13th I went for a little drive west of the city. It was so nice to see a lot of the juvenile birds out on the fences.
I also love landscapes with clouds!
Thanks for your visits and comments! They are all greatly appreciated!
