I counted at least 12 different fonts in this leather label on a cannister.

A canister to hold a MK 12 Mod 3 gyroscope for a MK 15 Mod 1 torpedo. Stamped on to the lid is "MK. XII-IL 28713". The label on the front of the canister reads: "Tag to be pasted on outside of inner gyro can. Gyro Mark 12. MOD 3. Number 28713. Torpedo Mark 15 MOD 1 Number 37505. At Keyport. Wash. Date Jan 12 1957. [label missing]ordance with O.P 1105 11-55 2-ounce bags of Silica-Gel are in gyro can to absorb moisture and offer protection against [label missing] ion. Work in progress. Can't get the colors to match up right on Flickr, also it's missing ad copy. Just more random concept art my brain shits out. I like where this one is going, though. I almost want to do an entire branding mock-up, the components all work so well.

The label of Zing went the Strings is a doily. And no, I didn't dye it - i actually found a doily the right colour at the market. I have been collecting the doilies for a while now, and they make great quilt labels. I use Zig Textile Markers for the labels, the same ones I used on the Egyptian Quilt for Jeanne. If the fabrics have been washed, you need a good dose of spray starch to prevent bleeding of the ink.
