The MIT Media Lab @ Aspen Ideas: Seeding Innovation
The MIT Media Lab is based on the premise that, as the world continues to change aggressively, you need to continue to innovate. In order to innovate, you need to continue to learn, which means you need to continue to be creative. The Media Lab is a unique institution in higher education because it is committed to being like a big kindergarten — a place where tinkering is encouraged. This session feature some of the most exciting innovations coming out of MIT Media Lab today.

The actual "lab" part of the Oceaneer Lab. They do stuff like baking soda volcanoes, making "flubber", etc., as well as some cooking. Charlie spent most of his time in the lab over at the computers.

the lab is running on emergency lighting during the power outage. It was surprisingly more lit than I thought it'd be.
More lab hijinks as Michael, Monica, and Sarah (out of frame) test an improvised and slightly Rube Goldberg setup for applying a visual stimulus in fMRI experiments. An LCD projector shines through a hole drilled in a wood block, reflects off a mirror, and onto a sheet of paper.

Thank you our 100 pound choc lab Maya. She suffers from septic arthritis and this bed has helped our miracle dog
stay comfy! And she cheers on her GEORGIA BULLDOGS
on Saturday.
This is my failing a material photo. I think that this worked well as I failed the cord in two ways. I managed to not only fray the end as I cut it but I also was able to burn the other end of it.
