The NCCA-National on Committee on Dance headed by Ms. Shirley Halili-Cruz and the National Parks Development Committee presented Dance Xchange in Labs Kita Sabado, NPDC's weekly public service program at the Rizal Park Open-Air Auditorium last April 29, 2017.
The program was in celebration of the International Dance Day and “National Dance Week” in accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 154. The program featured performances from renowned performing dance groups in the country such as the Sindaw Philippines Performing Arts Guild Inc., Next to Innocence, Mga Anak Ni Inang Daigdig, Junior New System, Halili-Cruz Dance Company, Technological University of the Philippines Kalinangan Dance Troupe, Philippine Normal University Kislap Sining, Tanghalang Bagong Sibul Dance Company, Bayanihan The Philippine National Folk Dance Company, University of Santo Tomas Salinggawi Dance Troupe, University of the Philippines Dance Company and Eccelerate.
Dance Xchange 2017: The Philippine International Dance Workshop and Festival will be held on May 8-11 in Isabela Province and will gather local and international dance groups, dance masters and dance educators.
Assistant Professor Sandra Saavedra directs the University of Hartford's Pediatric Balance Laboratory, where she and her physical therapy students conduct research to determine which senses children use to stay upright. They analyze, in detail, how children without disabilities learn to sit, stand, and, finally, walk. They are also evaluating children with disabilities to understand how their development is different, with an eye towards creating new treatments in the future.
The lab is part of the Institute for Translational Research in the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions at the University of Hartford.

LAB MIX PUPPIES: there are 3 of these cute, 2-3 month old Lab mix puppies, all male, 2 black and one brindle. They’re sweet, gentle, snuggly and all-around adorable! Though they can be a little shy at first, they warm up quickly with kind handling and reassurance. Though these little guys love each other, they’ll do best in separate homes where they can have the love, attention and training all puppies need.
They live in kennel P8.
