Sensory deprivation tanks. Truly an amazing experience and I can't wait to do it again. For those who don't know, it's a large tank void of any light at all. It has about 8inches of heated water with about a thousand pounds of epsom salt in it. You strip down, rinse of in a shower, pop in some ear plugs to help keep salt out of your ears and to help negate any sounds. You open this door walk in close the door and lay down and instantly float with no effort. The water and air are heated to roughly body temp so you can't even feel the separation. So, you can't see anything, can't hear anything and can't feel anything. You lay there for at least a couple of hours. Sensory deprivation. For the first time in your life. It does take a bit to get your mind to quiet down and then the fun begins. Your brain is an amazing thing and can do great things. Aside from mental wellness it also does miracles for pains, My back hasn't felt that good in years. They have one right on the Venice board walk, Venice Float Labs, Owned by a really cool dude by the name of Crash.
