I'm spending the night gathering all of my old motion images to put them into my presentation for the North Shore Camera Club on Tuesday. This is one of my favorite light trail photos. I took it last spring. It was the first time I went out really looking for light trails and the first time I'd used my 9 stop ND filter. I got a ton of crappy shots, but I like the minimal look to this one where only the trails and the street lights came through.

There’s a road I’d like to tell you about, lives in my home town

Lake Shore Drive the road is called and it’ll take you up or down

From rags on up to riches fifteen minutes you can fly

Pretty blue lights along the way, help you right on by

And the blue lights shining with a heavenly grace, help you right on by

And there ain’t no road just like it

Anywhere I found

Running south on Lake Shore Drive heading into town

Just slippin’ on by on LSD, Friday night trouble bound

And it starts up north from Hollywood, water on the driving side

Concrete mountains rearing up, throwing shadows just about five

Sometimes you can smell the green if your mind is feeling fine

There ain’t no finer place to be, than running Lake Shore Drive

And there’s no peace of mind, or place you see, than riding on Lake Shore Drive

And there ain’t no road just like it

Anywhere I found

Running south on Lake Shore drive heading into town

Just slicking on by on LSD, Friday night trouble bound

And it’s Friday night and you’re looking clean

To early to start the rounds

A ten minute ride from the Gold Coast back make sure you’re pleasure bound

And it’s four o’clock in the morning and all of the people have gone away

Just you and your mind and Lake Shore Drive, tomorrow is another day

And the sunshine’s fine in the morning time, tomorrow is another day

And there ain’t no road just like it

Anywhere I found

Running south on Lake Shore drive heading into town

Just snaking on by on LSD, Friday night trouble bound

Another experiment with my spiral editor.

Post Processing in Photoshop.

Original Image Size : 20,000x20,000pixels (400 Megapixels)

From now on I can create images up-to 4,000 megapixels (64,000 x 64,000), theoretically I could go even bigger but it becomes very slow editing

"V5 Present

MoT Exempt

Chassis number: 2H1107BW

This early Daimler Series 2 is the 107th RHD example produced. Being subject of an older restoration, the vendor describes the paintwork as very good, the body sound and the interior as excellent with tan leather and the wood trim in good condition. We have been advised that the left‑hand fuel tank is not fitted but that the right one is in place and working and that it recently benefits from a new battery and alternator. It was last MoT'd in 2011 when it recorded 6,721 miles and has been in storage since. Prior to 2011, the only MoT issued is dated 2008 with mileage of 5,651 which indicates that the car has mostly been unused in the last twelve years. It has had seven registered owners, the last since 2009. Currently mileage recorded at 7,108. It comes only with a current V5, original owner's handbook and an MoT certificate dated from 2011."
