Dave as Captain America keeping the woods safe at night… Sharing a few photos from a recent trip to our friend’s cabin in Luck WI. I’m always on the lookout for photo opportunities but didn’t really have anything specific in mind this trip. Of course we always travel with our Superhero outfits. Doesn’t everyone? Our true motivation was that it happen to be high tick season in the north woods, and so I ‘joked' that we would have to bring along full body suits if we were to play outside. And so we donned our Captain America and Flash suits for a spectacular evening photo shoot with fireworks, which you can see along with a movie version in this same album. I was also interested in exploring some flash photography at dusk, something I’ve done very little of over the years. Captain America to the rescue! Dave at his best and winning his battle with the voracious ticks of northern Wisconsin, for this night anyway. Enjoy!

Captain America and Flash wish you a spectacular 4th of July! Sharing a few photos from a recent trip to our friend’s cabin in Luck WI. This is what I came up with. And then of course no trip to Wisconsin would be complete without fireworks! So I had the thought to explore some night photography with fireworks at dusk. Without much of a plan we set up my favorite fireworks (Mega Fortune Wheel), called upon our inner Superheros and lit the fuzes. Many thanks to our friends who kept the camera snapping while cheering us on. It lasted less than a minute. But Captain America and Flash emerged victorious in their battle against the voracious ticks of northern Wisconsin, for this weekend anyway. And be sure to check out the movie version here in this album to see our Superheros in action. Enjoy!
