The Ching, 2021
For the last four years, on the first day of Spring, I've followed one of London's many brooks. Starting from where it outflows and tracing it back to where it rises. This year it’s The Ching. Flows out into the River Lea, rises in the southern tip of Epping Forest.

Greater London Authority moved to 'The Crystal' in the Canning Town area of East London. Renamed 'City Hall' in December 2021.

The Shard is a 72-storey skyscraper, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano, in Southwark, London, that forms part of the Shard Quarter development. Standing 309.6 metres (1,016 feet) high, the Shard is the tallest building in the United Kingdom, and the seventh-tallest building in Europe. It replaced Southwark Towers, a 24-storey office block built on the site in 1975. The tower's privately operated observation deck, The View from The Shard, was opened to the public on 1 February 2013

I found London to be in stunning contrast from old to new. Skyscrapers adorned in glass reflected the old world works of art that represents the history of this great nation.
