Taken a couple of months ago on a day when the mist was just starting to retreat. The bridge is Southwark Bridge, the building in the distance is 1 Blackfriars Road. The lens I used was a 200mm full frame equivalent which compresses the scene nicely.
I've turned comments off for this image as I'm going to be off Flickr for a day or two and I won't have the time to reply to your kind comments.
The London Eye is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3.75 million visitors annually.
London Scenes - various
As the title infers, these will be slices of London, hopefully including every aspect of life. Including Architecture, Sculpture, People, Graffiti, Transport and pretty much everything I have seen over the past 10 to 15 years of photography.

Today I was browsing through my archive photos of our trip to London in May 2017 after hearing the rather alarming news from England ...
We were visiting THE SHARD on our wedding anniversary ... and I never had a stronger Gin & Tonic so far in my life - they really meant well for me ... I swear it was the tower that swayed and not me ;))
Have a Happy Forth Sunday of Advent (nonetheless) and a Happy Sliders Sunday ... and please take care !!
And happy Windows Wednesday :)
[Editing: Perspecitve Efex (horizontal alignment and miniature effect) and Silver Efex (mainly Omnious Fade) and some additional editing in Affinity Photo - here especially trying to remove the most disturbing reflections]

City of Westminster, London. Looking at Wigmore Street with its much more grandiose architecture. Wigmore Place was originally the location of stables and coach-houses. Fuji X-E3 plus pancake lens.
Another one taken early morning last year. The cranes along the river are part of the Tideway project (aka The Super Sewer) - www.tideway.london/locations/blackfriars-bridge-foreshore/.
Thanks very much for viewing.
Going back to London for today's shot, You may remember that I posted a shot similar to this a few months back. That one was taken about an hour before this shot and after leaving the location to see what else I could shoot I had to rush back up river to get this photo.
At the time I'd written this off as a shot I wasn't really happy with, but as I was going through my lightroom catalogue I gave it another look and decided to edit it.

As much as I appreciated comments and feedback I would request no Awards or flashy gif comments, please. They will be deleted. Thank you.
View on the Gherkin building at sunrise from Heron Tower. Went up there one morning with my friend Otto Berkeley who is an amazing photographer but unfortunately doesn't post on Flickr anymore (Instagram instead). The breakfast in Duck & Waffle was lovely, the views too, just a shame the windows were fully misted up so we couldn't see a thing from our table... haha... luckily the view from the bar was ok so managed to snap couple of shots
