On December 31st, 1988 eastbound Soo Line train 402 is running on Wisconsin Central rails near Sussex, Wisconsin. – In the early days of the WC, it seems there may have been an arrangement where the Soo had some limited trackage rights for a few trains, I do not know the exact details and it didn’t seem to last very long. - - - Also, as of this posting both of these former Milwaukee Road EMD SD40-2 locomotives are actually still in service - the 6355 on the Wheeling & Lake Erie and the 6386 on the Wisconsin & Southern. ~~ A Jeff Hampton Photograph ©
