This is the first camera to electrically transmit the aperture to the camera's light meter. The M42 lenses for the camera have electrical contacts at the back, like modern lenses, but only three. Almost all lenses for this camera and its successors have an 'electric' in their designation.
The picture shows a Meyer Görlitz Oreston with electrics, which does not yet have 'electric' in the name. The lens was later called the 'Pentacon electric 1.8/50'.

- This first generation 2-door Coupé body Pony Car (1969-1974) was designed by Carl Cameron, built on the Chrysler E-platform (like the Plymouth Barracuda) and assembled in Hamtramck (Michigan) and in Los Angeles (California).
- Everything changed at Dodge (and all car manufacturers) when the 1973 oil crisis hit the United States. The government passed legislation (1972) requiring engines to have the ability to run on low lead or no lead gasoline. Government safety and emission regulations, and increasing insurance premiums meant the horsepower rating and size for all manufacturers was on the decline.
- Engine power was now rated in SAE net horsepower, meaning theoretical horsepower with all accessories in place.
- So this 2+2-seater fixed-head Hardtop Coupé was for now the last series Challenger, only available with two detuned V-8 engines.
- Dodge re-used the Challenger name again for its second generation Challenger from 1978 until 1983.

- The Imperial name had been used since 1926, but was never a separate make, just the top-of-the-line Chrysler, until 1955 when it was launched and registered as a separate luxury marque.
- The new "Fuselage Look" with rounded "tumblehome" sides, bulging at the belt line, and tucking in down to the rocker panels was designed by Elwood Engel.
- This new styling made the cars look longer and wider and surrounded the passengers in a hull-like fashion, similar to an aircraft, hence the reference to "fuselage".

- Danish-born William S. "Big Bill" Knudsen helped Henry Ford figure out how to produce Model T's by the millions.
- In early 1924 Knudsen shocked the industry by moving to General Motors, where he took command of the Chevrolet brand and car, brought into the GM fold by. Knudsen immediately challenged Chevy dealers to match Ford sales "one for one" - a seemingly impossible goal as nearly half of all new cars sold at the time were Fords. By 1925 the Chevrolet Series K was a worthy competitor to the Model T Ford. The battle for sales supremacy had begun.
- In 1926 GM's Art & Colour section was formed under the guidance of Harley J. Earl and was also the final year for wood-spoke wheels as standard equipment.
- The Superior Series V was available as this 4-door Sedan, as 4-door Landau Sedan, as 4-door Touring, as 2-door Coach, as 2-door Roadster, as 2-door Utility Coupé and as rolling chassis.
- The cheapest complete model was the Roadster ($510 in 1926), while the Landau Sedan was the range-topping model, sold for $825.

SkyPoint is a 361 ft (110 m) high rise in Tampa, Florida. It was constructed from 2005 to 2007 and has 33 floors. The Preston Partnership, LLC along with Echelon Engineering, LLC designed the building, which is the 9th tallest building in Tampa. It has 380 Residential units spread across 25 levels sitting atop seven levels of enclosed parking. The ground floor houses 10,800 square feet (1,000 m2) of retail space.
Separating the parking levels from the residential is a large amenity deck that houses a 4,000 square feet (370 m2) clubhouse, a 2,500 square feet (230 m2) fitness center, a media room and lounge, as well as a large landscaped terrace and swimming pool. Skypoint is composed of cast-in-place concrete in conjunction with post-tensioned cables. Concrete strengths range from 5,000 pounds per square inch (34,000 kPa) at typical residential floors up to 10,000 pounds per square inch (69,000 kPa) at the ground level columns and shearwalls. Just before its grand opening to residents, William “Wild Bill” Stroup BASE-jumped off the building on March 6, 2007.

- Chevrolet was co-founded by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant. Louis Chevrolet was a race-car driver, born on December 25, 1878, in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland. William Durant, founder of General Motors, had been forced out of GM in 1910 and wanted to use Louis Chevrolet's designs to rebuild his own reputation as a force in the automobile industry. As head of Buick Motor Company, prior to founding GM, Durant had hired Chevrolet to drive Buicks in promotional races.
- By 1916 Chevrolet was profitable enough to allow Durant to buy a majority of shares in GM. After the deal was completed in 1917, Durant was president of General Motors and Chevrolet was merged into GM, becoming a separate division.
- The name “Camaro” was conceived by Chevrolet merchandising manager Bob Lund and General Motors vice president Ed Rollett, while they were reading the book Heath's French and English Dictionary by James Boïelle and by de V. Payen-Payne printed in 1936. It states that Mr. Lund and Mr. Rollett found the word “camaro” in the French-English dictionary was slang, to mean friend, pal, or comrade.
- In fact, the actual French word that has that meaning is "camarade", from which the English word "comrade" is derived and not "camaro"; "camaro" is not a recognized word in the French language.
- The Camaro (code-named Panther) was first shown at a press preview in Detroit, Michigan, on September 12, 1966.
