On the way home Thanksgiving evening, we spotted this farmhouse, already lit up for the next holiday! The sunset and a tiny sliver of the moon made the scene seem very special, at least to me....
The dense tree canopy above the canal and along the lake edge makes for some beautiful light especially in the early hours. Black-crowned Night-heron stepping into the some light.

This is an alternate version of my selfie with this tree taken a bit earlier before astro twilight, so the sky doesn't have the colour, but I prefer the lighting on the tree in this one. Other than the torch I am hoding, 3 off camera flash units added light to the tree. This is a 4 shot vertical panorama, stitching and editing in Photoshop. Sigma lens.
