Barnegat Lighthouse overlooks the Barnegat inlet and the Atlantic Ocean keeping the New Jersey Shore shipwreck free.

Split Point Lighthouse is a lighthouse located in Aireys Inlet on the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia.

The Cap Blanc Lighthouse is located on a point of land just West of the town of Percé on the Gaspe Peninsula of Quebec on the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. It dates to 1915 and has been inactive since the mid to late 1990's. The light is a 7 metre tall concrete tower. Access is by walking through a local campsite and one should ask permission before entering the area.

As I was far away from the lighthouse I had to use the equivalent of a 600 mm telelens with my camera. Due to the distance and the hot air in the African summer the photos lacks sharpness.

I have seen much better shots of this lighthouse taken from the same point. You can only take what is there on the day though, and this is my best effort.

The Currituck Beach Lighthouse. We visited it (but didn't climb it, or any of the lighthouses).

Hook Head lighthouse, is the oldest operational lighthouse in the world. It's lighthouse tower, a 13th Century Norman structure, was built by the Earl of Pembroke as part of the development of his Lordship of Leinster. [LH118]
