I don't like the composition of this shot, but I can't resist uploading this image as the light and bokeh here are gorgeous. Especially the hair of the right flower is shining in the light and it is absolutely gorgeous (anyway to me).

was a nice morning for a walk in the wood the light was very strong , like the contrast here between the dark form the tree trunk and the intensely light behind the tree's

Misty scene at Savernake Forest, Wiltshire
Took another trip to Savernake Forest last weekend as fog/mist was forecast. I decided I'd try a different bit of the forest from where I've been snapping the veteran oak trees. There was a bit of mist around first thing but not as much as was forecast and it seemed to disappear by about 2 hours after sunrise. I had just packed away and was walking back to the car when the sun rose above the the tree canopy and suddenly there were light beams coming through catching a bit of mist that wasn't visible until then. Couldn't pass that up so out came the gear and I snapped away for a few mins. I quite liked this one and although I did take some bracketed shots just in case this is a single exposure.

Today I had a really interesting walk up a couple of smaller hills. The first one was Windy Hill in the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park follwed by a walk to the old Barytes Mine also located in the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park.
While on the Windy Hill trail I walked through a forest and the light and dark really caught me here, I just had to photograph it.
The time of colors and light has come finally! But unfortunately I'm pretty busy to make and edit the pictures. So here's another photo from the archive.
All we are just the catchers of light. At least me...

I found this little gem in Canterbury Cathedral & loved the heart shaped glow of light illuminating it, for those who know Andy Mcgowan no you are not seein double, I like to share my treasures,,,,,,,,,;-). Please go have a peek at his too.........
I end the year with a black and white image as a respect for all those people who are no longer due to the scourge of this 2020, and all those who have gone through it and are having a hard time.
I humbly wish that the year 2021 may leave us space to relax at some point, and that we may keep close to us all those people who bring us good things.
I wish the best of lights to all the photography lovers that we show in spaces like this our mutual respect and our widest tolerance, and that we continue sharing the world within our images.

I just love this sky , it has so much power in it, it looks like an explosion of light. this was taken in june on the banks of the river Thames at around 8.30pm in the evening on Ilford Delta 400asa print film.

This is most palpable in his works of church architecture. This section is dedicated to introducing his most representative sanctuary spaces and features a full-scale replica of the Church of the Light that has been built as a special installation in the open-air exhibition area.
