Durdle door sits on the South Coast of the UK in Dorset and is part of the Jurassic coastline there.
A much loved spot visited by many photographers always produces some incredible images.
This was taken in the late afternoon when the rocks and coastline were bathed in some beautiful golden light.
Using a LEE little stopper for a longer exposure to catch some motion in the water.

I had originally intended to call this photo "natural vs artificial light" but the mood of this image made me think of the Linkin Park song.

I went to the skating rink and the evening shadow was cast on the rink so I had great white blast of light and a dark shadow of cold ice. Light and Dark or Dark to Light just depends if you read left to right or right to left. Yes I took the most minimal thing there is but this was my first thought when I saw the theme.

Polarized light.
Water timer, uses two penguins to indicate time lapse. . When the top one reaches the center, time is up. The water and oil effects the polarizing; results vary each time I shoot it.
