Last weekend I was at a friend's wedding in Valencia. She told me about a sleepy provincial city, and found a vibrant metropolis. No matter what, I made sure I spent every single hour I had out there seeing the place. And it is a place to see. If you do tourism right, it costs you ways more in shoes than in Taxi, Metro or bus... That Indiana this girl and her colleagues were advertising for turned out to be a nightclub along my way back to the hotel.

For Morgan - Custom Amaryllis in progress. More gold highlights on the "Z". And I'm going to put a little more pink on the lids so the color is more dense.
I had a bunch of old lids lying around, so I decided to take a picture of them! I liked the curved lines, so I focused on that for the photo.
Traditional hand-painted porcelain from Thailand in a style from the Ming dynasty in China. The small tea cups have lids like the teapot that goes with them.

The back of the cap on a bottle of liquid abrasive, the bottle is always clogged when I want to use it and then I have to poke a thick needle through the opening before I can start...

The lid from our olive oil bottle had an illustration on it which I felt made the shot more interesting. I tried the plain vinegar lids but rejected them in favour of this one.
