Hardest part was getting the bookshelf all connected, some surprisingly tricky offsets in there. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out overall...and I guess I continued my trend of small mocs :P

I've gone respectable and librarian like! not sure why or how that happened , must be an age thing maybe!

I went to Cambridge today with the girls and what a waste of time that was, the shops have absolutely nothing worth buying in them, Even the charity shops were bare.

Oh well we had a day out and being in drab mode meant i could be grumpy with just cause lol. Did a good lunch/dinner though

This is actually a bookshop in Cardiff, Wales taken through the front glass window. The chap reading surrounded by a wall of books, is what attracted me to the shot.I tried it in black and white but it looked far better in colour.

You'd be surprised what goes on at libraries after hours.

My old ones as it happens, I had to get new ones as I broke one side, but have since fixed that, mostly with headshrink tubing, and added one of those chains. I'll explore the Librarian look anothet time, as I think a pussy bow blouse and a line or maybe pencil skirt would suit that better. But for now I quite the feeling of being able to have them around my neck.

Who doesn't love the hot librarian look? I mean really? Unlike most of my pinups, this was done on location at a used book store. The guy who owns it was cool enough to let us use the place for an hour before opening!

Of course, shooting on location in poor light in a tight space in under an hour meant there were a lot of throw-away shots. Still, getting just a few salvageable images makes it all worthwhile.

Special thanks to Miranda, who swooped in to do hair and makeup when our previously booked lady had to bail at the very last minute!

Quiet, bookish brand new mother. We shot this at the end of the family shoot as an afterthought with much giggling and eye-rolling and turned out this stunner. All you housewives out there working your tails off everyday to raise happy, well adjusted kids...it's still in there. Don't be afraid to let it out!

Dan brought home a box of interesting old library things from his school. These objects had been locked in a closet for years. Since it is National Librarian Day the Lego librarian is helping me with show them off. Here are some old bottles of stamp pad ink and some library stamps. I need to find some uninked stamp pad so we can try out the ink.

First of two not-so-subtle jokes involving the title of the book.

So I don't know what gets into me sometimes but I ended up with this conservative plaid suit and well....thought what better place to hide until the trial, than as a quiet librarian!...lol

Gorilla Suit Man and the Lizard Suit Guy stopped by the library to see if they had a copy of "Origin of Species". Unfortunately the last copy had been checked out but there was a copy of "Oranges and Peaches".
